This hotel could use some cleaning and freshening up. It is an old building and there is a lot of construction going on around the neighborhood. there is a lot of noise from the outside and the window coverings do not cover the windows entirely. The windows in the room are very dirty on the outside. I saw this mentioned in other reviews an thought nothing of it but it it quite impressive how dirty they are. They look like they haven't been cleaned for a decade. The service seems to be spotty here. The front desk manager and our waitress at breakfast were nice and competent but the housekeeping must be having problems. Housekeeping stripped the linens and piled trash from an adjacent room in the hall in front of our room and left if all day and over night. The furniture in the room is a mixture of newer and old. The curtains are old and have dirty feeling to them. When booking direct through IHG, I was given the option to pay a higher rate to have breakfast included. At checkin, I was told that breakfast is not included but they give a voucher for $20 off at their restaurant. They charge an additional $15/day for parking in their unsecured empty parking lot.

Nice view from the clean room. Even A/C filters were clean. Good service in lounge. Employees were mostly very nice. But breakfast was horrible. Waited for to go order and took it back to room. They forgot my toast so I had to go back. I got it but by time I went back to room the rest of it was cold. Ate very little as it was terrible. It was a waste of $25. Was charged for parking when it said free on the info sheet they gave me. Not many people in town so it really should be included in room rate. Another $45 gone.

We stayed there this last weekend and it was by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Trying to find the place is pretty easy because it’s right next to the freeway in the dirtiest part of downtown. And when they say they will cover your parking for the night, they mean that their machine only takes cash and you’ll have to pay for that yourself. The lobby and restaurant were nice but when it came to the rooms, wow that was a major disappointment. Walked into our room and it was like walking into a wall of urine. The floors were stained and the tile in the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a year. The beds looked like there were two clean pillows, and two dirty pillows and the bed sheets didn’t match. One comforter looked like it belonged on a rod in a shower. Then all through the night kids would run the circle and pound on all the doors. A cheap roadside motel has better rooms than this place. It’s sad that we used all of our points on booking this room. It was the worst.

Location put the guests within walking distance to a variety of venues, including the M.O.S.T. museum. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The elevators were modern and high-tech. The catering staff provided excellent service and food to our 90 guests.

It's practically on I-81. It's hard to miss. There is a parking garage behind the hotel. Very easy.
