Beautiful, majestic, pristine Mountain and lake views with lush green landscapes and the chirping of birds all around us. No swimming anywhere on the lake, but there’s a small pool and splash park for the kiddies. Pool open 7 days during the summer and weekends only after Labor Day🍀

We stayed at this campground in western Arkansas both going and returning from Arizona. It wasn’t yet busy in late March and then early April - the weather wasn’t warm yet. Very nice ! Hiking trails can be accessed from the camp ground, sites are spacious, mostly open, many overlooking the lake. The restroom we used was very clean. Nice Visitor Center

Stayed at the park this last weekend with my kid in a tent. We were near the bathhouse on the back part of the loop, and I have never seen a cleaner or better-maintained facility. They came around to collect trash multiple times per day. The bathhouse looked like it is cleaned every day. Even though every campsite was in use the park was quiet day and night. People that passed by were friendly and kind. I found the park staff to be very helpful and friendly. I appreciate that you are allowed to go ahead to your site if you arrive late and check in the following morning. This park is beautiful! The playground, marina, and views of the lake are all lovely areas. The trails, the ones we went on, were a bit rough but had gorgeous views. I do wish there were more signs along the trails, but a trail map or a trail app could be used. I think I should mention that there is pretty much no phone reception or WiFi at this place. I think they have WiFi at the visitors center; not sure how reliable it is. To make phone calls we had to drive a bit out of the park towards the highway where we could get some reception. I was fine with this as we were there to spend time outdoors anyway. We had a fun and quiet time enjoying nature, roasting hot dogs and s'mores, and bundling up in our sleeping bags when it started getting cold at night. Highly recommend this park for family time or for anyone that enjoys fishing, hiking, or just sitting outside in the quiet.

Beautiful place. Very well maintained, very nice camping sites as well as cabins. We scouted it out today for future camping it is perfect. I'm sure in season the pool and restaurant is up an running.

Prices depend on the time of year and the type of site. You can make reservations online using the link in the description. It looks like the cheapest site is $22/night.
We had our family reunion in may there it was awesome. The pavilion had a huge grill inside ,we are going back in may again
Rentals were closed for the foreseeable future.
No its too hilly there!
No, but they have a nice pool area that is open from Memorial Day to Labor day.
Yes. You need to make a reservation though.
I'm afraid I don't know. You can call the park. If your talking about Devil's Den State Park, I think the pool opens on Memorial weekend (but not sure) .
We stayed in a cabin but walked down the campground road. All services are provided. We saw two water stations, well paved for excellent drainage.
They opened it last weekend
They sure do!!!!
No, only if you rent one of theirs
There are a few trails there... The Ozark Highlands Trail goes for 175 miles... And the Shepard Springs loops off of it for a nice 5 mile hike. I think there is also the Warren Hollow Trail (1.2mile) & the Boston Mountain Trail (loop a is 4miles, loop is an additional 2.5... open to bikes & hikes... Not sure about the others)
When I stayed last fall, there was no wifi at the cabin, and mobile coverage depends on provider. T-mobile seemed to be the worst at that time.
I don't believe so, however there maybe some trails within a short distance. I bet you could call the park and get some more information...
The campsite tables do NOT have shelters or roofs.
About $20 a night , within a dollar or two .. I think i paid $10 with my " access pass " ...
They do sell books. I remember seeing a book about waterfalls in Arkansas, as I recall most books outdoor themed as you might expect.
No, but you can book designated camp sites for a modest fee. Keep in mind that availability can be an issue if you're looking at short notice because the season is good now. You can reserve slots at Arkansas State Parks website.
In order to reserve in advance you must pre pay with card when making reservation.
No. Plates, glasses, silver ware etc is furnished.
Bed and bath linens are provided in individual cabins.
Dogs are allowed at the park with a leash. All dogs must be kept on a leash. Messes should be cleaned up as well.
They have 2 occupancy for $139/night $12 extra per night for anyone over 2 people children under 12 stay free. They also have 4 occupancy for $149/night plus $12 per night for anyone over 4 people and again children under 12 stay free.
