Beautiful park and lake. There's a nice playground, and the water was warm and inviting. Kids loved it.

This is probably one of the most beautiful place for a getaway. You can camp here, you can bring your RV's or you can just rent one of the three Yurts they have that faces the lake. They have electrical outlets, heater/AC, fireplace, cooking stove, water and yet it is so isolated. My phone had no reception here. Absolutely quiet and peaceful. The public restrooms were cleaner than most of the hotel restrooms, there is ATV trail, bike trail and hiking trails. The nights sky was beautiful, even stargazers will love this place. Please book in advance for the Yurt.

Since moving to Louisiana last year we have started venturing out to try new parks. What was amazing about camping at Daisy was camping on a hill overlooking the water. It seems at most places, the camping sites are just in the woods without a view. It was nice to camp somewhere where you had a view from the campsite. There wasn't much in the way of hiking but we did enjoy some kayaking which was nice.

The water is murky more towards the bank depending on what the weathers like that day, So the water does get pretty clear on sunny days.
I don't know, we stayed there for 5 nights in our RV. Get online and ask, or call their number.
Yes
They have Yurts. I believe 4 of them. No boats that I remember but there is a marina that is close that might. They do have kayaks that we have rented.
they only have one. and i think its around 85 dollars a night
You can call them to ask them that. I'm sure they don't get on Google very often. Call their office. You should be able to find it on here
Yes you can!
Very true! You have an unlimited amount of time if the site is still available!
Yes
I am not sure, to get a more definitive answer, here is the Daisy State Park Office number (870) 398-4487
Yes. It's a nice lot next to the water. The only downside is all the sites on that area have steep slopes down to the water.
Yes. They are pretty cheap. You can get them at most stores in the area
It's a round tent with latticework walls made out of wood, covered in a heavy canvas and usually have 2 to 3 windows and a door. The yurts at Daisy State park are positioned on top of decks and are air conditioned and heated. There are electrical outlets inside along with bunk beds, table & chairs, and a cooler.
Class D tent space is 14/night. The Daisy Motel is a good option as well.
Very much so...
Yes, be aware in the summer they are very busy and spots are booked well in advance. However, all around Daisy are other places which dont take reservations.
I'm not to sure but you can call and ask. The girls at the office are super sweet
Can you ride your atv to the trail from your camp site?
1 870-398-4487
It's free. Just call and check on times it is open.
The walk up tent sites have water spigots, but the only electricity is in the bathrooms. There is no electricity at the actual sites.
It is, however, a Dry County, so none is sold close by.
Sadly there are no paddle boats at Lake Greeson...but there are kayaks for rent!
No, but I stayed near it. The ground slopes downhill a bit, but that is normal. All in all it is a very nice park. I highly recommend it.
No not at the moment but always good to call ahead and verify with the park ahead of time.
