Absolutely fantastic food and great portion sizes. Everything is obviously put onto the plate with passion. Everything was cooked the way it should have been and was delicious. The gnocchi were soft, pillowy, and just melted in your mouth. The crab stuffed mushrooms appetizer were absolutely phenomenal (I could’ve just ate a huge plate of those 😂). The chicken and veal were cooked perfectly and were full of flavor. Don’t even get me started on the pasta! The pasta was some of the best I’ve ever had and a whole lot better than any of that dry stuff you can buy for $1 at the grocery store! My only complaint is that my calamari were rubbery. Everything else was phenomenal tho so I’ll let it slide Update after second visit: Everything was still excellent. Chicken marsala had a great flavor that really let the mushrooms shine through. Portions are still as enormous as ever and easily enough for 2 big servings👍.

We drove all the way from Monkey Junction in Wilmington because we had heard such amazing things about this restaurant. This place does not disappoint! Everything was amazing; the food, the atmosphere, the staff, everything! We ordered the rice balls appetizer special that was to die for, the Cesar salad has the best garlic bread crouton on it, and then got the Chicken Piccata and Lasagna as our entrees that will last us 3 meals and is some of the best Italian we have had in a long time!! Their hostess, Rhonda, is so kind and accommodating and came to check and chat with us throughout our meal which made it all the more special; along with Chef Mose in the back who made sure we were taken care of well! We will 100% make the trip back to dine here again.

I recently met the owner and found out about his restaurant. Tonight was my first visit and it definitely will not be my last. The food is amazing and the portions are a plenty. Our server Jordan was awesome. It was worth the drive from Wilmington.

Castucci's is the best restaurant in the area by a mile. I have traveled out of my way for great food for years and have never found a better hidden gem than Castucci's. Their vodka sauce is fantastic and bold. The lobster ravioli is available at several local places but none prepare it with the expertise that Castucci's offers. When we tasted the mozzarella, prosciutto, and roasted peppers, I literally said, "why is this chef in Southport and not DC or New York?" Every gnocchi, every pasta, every shrimp, every sauce. Every aspect of this meal was immaculately prepared. I cannot sing more praises for this restaurant. We will plan future trips around a chance to eat at this kitchen.
