Delicious shrimp and crabcake. Tasty Bloody Mary. Very reasonable pricing for what you get. The staff were super friendly. Just know that they do not bring you a check at the end of your meal. You go back inside to pay when you are done. They also use the honor system for fountain drinks, there is a lot of self service but there is plenty of staff to help.

The best parts of this place are the conch fritters and the fantastic view with the location on the water. I got the crab cake dinner and I thought the cakes were quite tasty. The yellow fin tuna and shrimp were also very good, but I will say that, for the price you pay for them, they could be a bit more elevated side choice wise (I did enjoy the cucumbersalad, though). Also, be prepared to wait a while to get seated (especially on the weekend). We went on a Sunday evening and had to wait about an hour before getting a table (but we still got to sit by the water while waiting). I'd also like to share their whole system of seating you and getting your food because it's very unique and a good thing to be prepared for when you go here. So, first you give your name to someone who stands out front. Then, you can go inside the small ordering/checkout area and take pictures of the menu (no paper copies). You then get your own drinks either from the fridge of alcoholic beverages or the coke machine. This is on the honor system (you will report your drinks at the end of your meal when you check out). You then wait somewhere outside until your name is called, and, when it is, someone will ask you for one of your personal belongings to mark the table that you are supposed to sit at after you order inside. Also, make sure that everyone in your party is around when your name is called otherwise you won't be seated. Once you order and find your table your name will be called again to deliver your food. Just wave your hand a in the air so they know whose table the order is for. When your finished eating, you get in the line to check out where you will report your drinks and pay. We ordered 4 entrées and 2 orders of conch fritters and a few drinks and the total came out to be around 106. Overall, I very much enjoyed eating eating here!

Nice Sunday lunch. Drove from Wilmington. Had Cheeseburger (Good!) with Onion rings (outstanding!!) Conch fritters (Generous portion came with remoulade. VERY tasty. A little more bread-y than I'd prefer.) with a cucumber side salad, and Crab cake (It came as a sandwich, so the veg garnishes counted as a side salad. I just didn't eat the bun.) The Bourbon Pecan pie is very tasty, with a great crust. Slice was about 1/12 or 1/16 of the pie. I think $2.50 or $3.00 would be a more appropriate price point. Overall very good experience in covered outdoor seating overlooking the mouth of the Cape Fear River.

This restaurant certainly has nice sunset view. I ordered Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Hot Wings. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich was good. They don’t have any options for Wing Sauce. Wings tasted ok.
