Our first time eating here was to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. After hearing so many good things about it, we finally decided it was time to give it a try. We were asking ourselves through the entire meal why we waited so long. We had made reservations and were immediately seated. Our server was prompt and friendly and very informative. We started with the fried green tomatoes which were perfect. My wife had the twin lobster tails which were topped with crab. The lobster were cooked to perfection. Tender and moist and delicious. The crab was also excellent. I got the blackened scallops. They also were cooked perfectly. The blackened seasoning was excellent. I also got a side of Lima beans. I am very picky when it comes to limas and most restaurants either over cook them and they are mush. Or under cook them and they’re tough. These were again- perfect. Kahlua pecan pie was the perfect ending for a perfect dinner. Mr. P’s is in the top 3 of our favorite restaurants.

On the recommendation of a very kind local we met named Blaze, I brought my Mom here for her birthday dinner. We had a lovely time at the dinner bar. The bartenders were working very hard and fast and the food was incredible. We also ended up getting friendly with the locals that were sitting next to us! The guy had the same exact birthday as my Mom, it was crazy! Though this place was quite fancy and pricey, it was well worth it to me because it also had a laid back atmosphere with superior service.

The food here is absolutely amazing. I would come here every night if I could. I tried some of the clam chowder and it tasted perfect being next to the sea it is just what I expected. Besides for the main course for exquisite and had many options. I highly recommend getting the corn it tasted so sweet and creamy in my pasta!

Very friendly and local restaurant that serves top quality food! We were celebrating an early birthday and Mr. P’s certainly delivered a delicious meal. My 3 party members ordered the 8 oz filet which was cooked beautifully, had great flavor, and was super moist and juicy. I ordered the crab stuffed fish of the day (which was flounder on this day) and it was full of crab meat (basically no filler if any), had tons of flavor, and just melted away in your mouth. Lots of different choices for vegetable sides. I personally found the creole cabbage to be exceptional. The staff was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very organized. It was honestly just a really great time. The also have a large variety of menu options ranging from burgers and seafood platters ($12 - $20ish) to more expensive stuff like prime rib and lobster ($23 - $50). This is great because it allows everyone to be able to afford something delicious without breaking the bank if need be👍.

They check your temp. when you walk in the door and the tables are distanced comfortably. I can't speak for the kitchen but it appears to be very clean. I felt very comfortable.
NC Soft Shell Crabs are normally available fresh between early April till June. Local restaurants generally try to keep them in stock during this time period, but often only have a limited supply on a daily/weekly basis.
Mr. P's is not cheap but it's worth every penny! I enjoy it everyone I go.
Fabulous food, yes need reservation because this place is busy Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
