The quality of service has greatly improved within the last year. Thankfully there has been progress made with the patients ability to communicate directly to the office staff by phone for issues with medication, prior authorizations etc. In previous years, calls were not being returned 100% of the time (in my experience). It is clear though they are now making more of an effort to return all calls. I can't say enough good things about Sandra (who is now at a different location) and Zed. They are both incredibly kind, compassionate and truly committed to helping the patients in any given situation. I am sure these doctors are well aware how lucky they are to have found two great employees. I've had a positive experience with some other really great employees but unfortunately I don't know there names.

I had a nerve conduction tonight study today. Long line made me 32 mins late. So disappointed. They refused to see me for being 2 minutes late. Both feet and calves numb. They don't care. I've sat there for more than an hour to see thr Dr but 2 minutes is a problem? SMH

I have been a patient of Dr. Guirguis for 23 years. I absolutely love my doctor but his office staff is completely worthless. If you have any issue with your medication like the wrong prescription, a prescription not sent or your insurance company needs something from the office, you might as well just forget it because his staff is NOT going to get anything done nor will they ever call you back. I have called 17 times this month regarding a simple preauthorization my insurance needs and they just blow you off. I hate to say it but I think its time to look for a different doctor.

I absolutely love the doctors and staff. Dr Otero and Kim to all the staff have always been so kind to me and have always understood when stuff with my transportation has restricted how long I'm here. They have always worked with me. No questions asked. I really appreciate their kindness. Great job to everyone there.

Questions & Answers

Will this doctor prescribe oxycodone?

David Saladino | Sep 9, 2018

This place is a fair and legal pain clinic. If you need medicine to help with managing your pain, the doctor's here will prescribe the correct medicine to treat your symptoms. If you become a client here you won't have to worry about the State shutting this clinic down because of illegal practices. This is not a Pill Mill, they won't give out Oxycodone to people who don't actually need it. If you are just looking for pills I suggest looking elsewhere!

Do doctor's have a medical marijuana license?

No this is not a medical marijuana clinic. Do a search for "Medical Marijuana" on Google maps and you will get a list of the clinics that that license. Green Health is a good place to go for that.

Does the office require new patients to see a psychologist prior to any treatment plans (such as medication)? My last doctor's office did and I thought that was very professional.

People , I'm just gonna toss this in the ring , because I've been at this so long ; treated for chronic pain since a child , and work as a chronic pain advocate. The reason they test for psychological problems, is not only for addiction probability ; but because most people that have suffered with chronic pain for long periods , always tend to pick up a nasty case of depression , and anxiety; so they need to make sure if you are perscribed potentionally dangerous meds , you won't try and hurt yourself with them. Even though I've only heard of this being a huge issue when forced off them suddenly; the doctors will be held liable , if they missed an at risk patient. Very unfair , but this society now blames everything on someone else , same reason responsible patients , are paying the price for the addicts now.

You must not have read the agreements you need to sign , that not taking meds as perscribed , is grounds for dismissal as a patient..
