Comfort Suites Southport is by far the most welcoming hotel I’ve ever stayed in. From the little pineapple sign to welcome you in the parking lot to the smell of fresh popcorn wafting through the lobby at check-in, everything about this hotel makes you feel as if you’re home. The beds were so comfortable and my Husky was welcomed with loving, open arms by all the staff. Everyone worked so hard to ensure the hotel was clean and sanitized the entire week of my stay. Housekeeping is still by request only, but with enough notice they will graciously take care of your requests. If you want the amenities of a vacation but the comforts of home, choose this hotel.

I absolutely LOVED this stay. I’m always so iffy about hotels these days. They’re never clean. You always find roaches. The staff if usually pretty horrible. I have Nothing but GREAT things to say about this hotel and their staff. Ms. Megan, Ms. Melissa and the gentleman (whose name I didn’t catch) were so wonderful to all of us. They met every need. Answered every question. Made sure to get whatever we needed. The breakfast lady (didn’t catch her name) but she was the sweetest lady! Breakfast was always good. The room was very clean. The shower wasn’t completely spotless like I clean mine, but that’s nothing. I was absolutely amazed and I will be staying there again. No doubt. Thank you to the cleaning staff and front desk receptionists!!! You all are amazing! Sincerely, the Sargent Family!

We absolutely love this place! The staff was so super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious! It was quiet and nice. Only about 7 or 8 minutes from the beach at the most! We will absolutely revisit!

Let me start my review by saying Scott at front desk rocks!! He took my reservation over the phone and is hilarious. Customer service at its best! The king suite we got was at end of the hallway and soooo quiet. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the room was absolutely spotless. Great coffee, great breakfast. I never review hotels with 5 star because there is always room for improvement in most places. They are 5 stars across the board
