Went today for the first time, ny daughter actually was drowning & the lifeguard "didn't even notice" my husband & I ran to my daughter & a kind man actually saved her and took her out , the lifeguard Casey didn't even care she still stayed in her seat. I went up to her & asked if she even noticed she said no! (Keep in mind it was not even packed π) I went to front desk to complain & front desk lady just started semi laughing had a big smile and said ok? Like she didn't care at all she went to "talk" to Casey about the incident but they started laughing and it made me so upset! I'm not the type of person to leave reviews but I mean dang do your job! The fact that nobody was even sorry about it or checked up or seemed to care was just a pathetic. So lifeguards definitely need to pay more attention!

We went here because Jack Carter was unexpectedly closed and our home swimming pool, Oak Point STILL hasnβt finished the outdoor pool construction. Iβd say this is fine for small children but anyone 5+ is going to get bored in about 30 minutes. Facility is was clean, itβs nice you can go between the indoor and outdoor areas to have a snack and would be fine for lap swimming. Just not a lot to offer grade school children.

I moved my family from Virginia to Plano, Texas in 1995 due to my worked. This is our first time to come and swim in this pool. We had a good time specially my grandkids. We love the pool and we are coming back. The staff are very nice and friendly. Thank you!

Lap swim time? Or timer? There is a large lap timer on the wall.
Best to check the city of Plano.gov website or call the facility directly.

No
Yes it does. It runs in sessions. The registration for the latest session started on 4th of August for Plano residents. It would be best for you to contact the PAC itself.
As far as I remember you just pay entry fee. Around $3. And then you can use facility including splash pad
$3 admission. Very clean. Nice lap pool (6 lanes I believe) open 11-3. Kids area has splash area and small slide. Love this pool!
All the information can be found on the Plano parks and recreation center page. If they teach children. The prices vary. Approximate cost for 8 classes $ 75
