Primrose of Moorefield Station has been such a blessing to our family since our children started with them after I transitioned from being a stay-at-home mom to a working parent. I was referred to the school from both my sister and sister-in-law - both of whom have given Primrose rave reviews. Primrose of Moorefield Station has provided first-class service since our first day, but also most notably during the Covid-19 pandemic. They have worked tirelessly to keep their doors open, servicing the families of this community, while juggling the challenges of operating a daycare during these difficult times. Despite the pandemic, I can say that my children haven’t skipped a beat this past year in terms of social interaction and academic progress. Primrose has been a safe place for my kids and I’m so thankful we have them in our lives. Additionally, I’m extremely happy with my decision to have enrolled my daughter in their Private Kindergarten program with Ms. Brown. My daughter loves her teacher, and has excelled academically from her curriculum. We are so thankful for Primrose and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking childcare or Kindergarten.

Since we first toured the Primrose School at Moorefield Station, we knew this was the place where our children would be able to thrive and learn in a nurturing, safe and healthy environment. Over the last 6 years, our boys have made so many friends and been happy in all their classes - to include the accredited Kindergarten and the new Elementary Enrichment Program for our older son. The teachers, management and staff are truly excellent and we can’t imagine a better fit for our family.

Fantastic school! Our daughter loves it there and asks to go to school even on the weekends. The staff and teachers are kind and caring to the kids. We could not be happier with this school!

We have been thrilled with our experience at Primrose - Moorefield Station. We have been confident in the team and very comfortable with the environment and quality of care since day 1. This year especially, in light of the pandemic, the group there has shined in their ability to adapt and continue to deliver an all-around wonderful option to local families. We highly endorse this group of talented care-providers.

Every child learns at their own pace because every child is unique. At Primrose schools, teachers use a variety of tools throughout the year to collaborate with families and monitor each child’s progress. This helps them understand each child’s individual needs and provide the personalized support that helps them excel.
We call our curriculum the Balanced Learning® approach. It is designed to inspire children to think with creativity, compassion and resourcefulness. Primrose school teachers not only guide children as they learn letters, numbers, science and more, but they also weave in character development and life skills opportunities throughout the day so children can develop social and relationship skills.
Yes, our school has a kindergarten program that utilizes our Primrose Balanced Learning® approach to help prepare children for success in Kindergarten, elementary school, and beyond. Small group lessons offer greater individual attention and our extended hours help support working parents with all-day care.
We require all teachers to be certified in first aid and CPR, in addition to ongoing health and safety training throughout the year. Teachers are also trained on common signs of illness with signage placed in each classroom. Learn more here: https://tinyurl.com/yakwfr8g
Teachers and students practice frequent handwashing throughout the day and adhere to a strict sick policy. Temperature checks, touch free check in, and limitations on visitors may also be implemented to minimize risk to all. Learn more here: https://tinyurl.com/y7gutztv
Items like high-touch toys, playground equipment, and other common surfaces are disinfected frequently throughout the day. Sheets and blankets from cribs are laundered daily; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and are laundered on a weekly basis. We require any students or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours.
