We had come to town because my son was graduating high school and we chose this hotel because the price was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area in light of the festivities that were happening in Hampton Roads. When we first arrived we were very pleased with our room but when we had come back from dinner there was a slight issue that we hadn't noticed when we first checked in when I notified the front desk attendant Zorica she was very apologetic and very nice about the entire situation changed our room very promptly I made sure that we were very happy with our accommodations. The breakfast was good and more than what most hotels are serving nowadays the room service was very nice housekeeping kept our room clean and made sure that we had fresh Linens and towels every day. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to town and I was very pleasantly surprised by the excellent service we received.

Had my wife find us a hotel and reserve it being it was pretty friendly. Checked in today. Went to room 113 and it smells like mold and mildew. The mini fridge did not work. The bathroom was disgusting and looked like a murder scene had taken place. Went to front counter, she was very nice and professional, and explained the issue. She changed our room to 115...... right next door. This room was better however, smelled like unbathed dog. To be fair, we have a small dog as well so comes with the territory I suppose. The couch was tattered, stained, torn up and had dime sized crumbs on it. The sink had wood planks holding it up. I mean come on now what do you want your guest to think this is rundown? If you have pets i recommend a different lodging as this is just barely a step up from low end, but definitely not middle of the road. I guess atleast i don't have hepatitis yet will find out after check out I suppose.

My fiance and I checked in Feb 13 and checked out Feb 15 The hotel is nice inside and outside, the check in person was very nice and professional, the lobby area is beautiful. We checked into room 109, soon as we checked in we could tell our floor hadn't been vacuumed, I could tell that the bed didn't have fresh sheets on it because there were no creases nowhere on them or the pillow cases, the bed looked like someone through the sheets up there, they weren't pulled tight at all. The bed also had hair on it and in it, even 2 of the pillow cases had hair on them. Number one rule for a hotel is to never leave hair no where that is so disgusting. The couch that we had in our room was covered in pet hair it was all over our clothes which was very disgusting. So we didn't use the couch and I went to the front desk for more sheets. These hotels that allow pets need to have specific rooms for these animals to go in so that way their hair isn't in every room. We asked to be switched but was told the hotel was booked. SMH hopefully they do better with the beds and change how they allow pets to stay meaning having certain rooms they rent out to pet owners.
