Absolute Death

There are ducks around the complex and they're amazing. Recently though I've noticed the maintenance men destroying the ducks nests. They take all of the eggs, put them in a bucket and either throw them away or smash them behind the maintenance shack. Then they barricade the trees to prevent more nesting. Maintenance also zoom around on their little carts and damn near run the ducks over. I have a feeling that the owners of this place want to get rid of the ducks, something they have no right to do. This is cruel.

I have lived in Luna Pointe for almost 2 years. I have seen several changes in those couple of years. Maintenance has improved immensely and the team is so very friendly and helpful. Sometimes it may take a day or 2 to get a small issue resolved but this is a large community and things do need to be prioritized. (A bad outlet is not as much of an emergency as no AC when in the middle of July.) The office staff has changed a few times since I have been here as well and I can honestly say they have ALL always been amazing. Any questions or concerns are taken care of quickly and professionally. Almost everyone on the Luna Pointe staff will address you by name and smile even when out and about on the property. Property grounds are well maintained with 3 ponds there a lots of ducks. I feel safe walking the grounds even if it gets dark. Most residents are very friendly and I LOVE the pet policy. The cove I live in...the parking lot does tend to flood during heavy rain and parking can be problem. They do listen to this and have been working on improving it. (Parking issues usually happen when guests are here occupying spaces). Overall it is a nice, safe, and quiet place to live.

My fiancé and I have been at Luna Pointe since the beginning of the year and we absolutely love it! The apartments are completely updated and priced reasonably which is very hard to find in this area. It is also a perfect location with easy accessibility to the highway, Langley AFB (5 minutes outside the gate), and Peninsula Town Center that has tons of shops and restaurants. When we found out our family was growing with our daughter being born Joanna was so helpful and beyond accommodating with helping us move into a bigger apartment. She made the transition so easy for us as new parents. Maintenance is also AWESOME! Anytime we need anything they are so quick to help. Even on the weekends or after hours and they never complain which is great. I love the scenery around the apartment complex especially when taking our daughter and our dogs on walks. They love to look at all the lakes and ducks. My fiancé also loves to fish in the fully stocked lakes on the weekends. There is really nothing we can complain about here! The customer service is unparalleled from the leasing office and the maintenance staff, our neighbours are amazing, and it’s such a quiet and safe area we are looking forward to being here for our time in Virginia!

I am about to renew my lease with Luna Pointe. When I moved in, almost a year ago, it was an incredibly stressful time in my life and the staff made the move easy and painless. (Well aside from the manual labor of moving) Shauna was amazing to work with, she knew us by name and was always asking about our puppy. Since she left, C.C. has been phenomenal!! Any issues have been taken care of by maintenance, quickly, professionally and without disrupting our daily lives. The property is well taken care of, and peaceful. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice apartment in a good neighborhood. I couldn't ask for a better management team!
