While I was waiting for my number to be serviced I heard a gentleman talking that he had been waiting an hour without an appointment. I waited about 15 minutes with an appointment. Your mileage may vary, however it is quick and easy to schedule an appointment.

If you are lapsed 6 months or more, you can't renew online. I tried. You also can't do on the spot renewal. I had to go to the nearest DMV with drive through. I took my passed emission/ inspection paper, they said I could bring my old registration also, and a form of payment (like a debit/credit card). I also found out that if you don't sign up for the email, you won't get it. I've heard rumors that they are sending out paper reminders in the mail again because of all the complaints from those who didn't sign up or didn't realize they would need to. Hi, I am the office manager at a dealership. If you cannot find the title, you will need to apply for a duplicate title. You can look up a Utah duplicate title application on Google, but you will need to have the previous owner sign off on it. You will also need to include a Utah title application, to get the title issued in your name and get it registered. If your 4 wheeler has an odometer available, you will need to print an odometer statement, which you can also get from Google. You will need your bill of sale as well, reflecting the transfer of ownership to you. If you had a loan on your car you need to contact the lean holder. For example a bank or credit union. If you had no loan the try the DMV. If you bought the car from a private seller and paid for it in full, then they should have given it to you. I hope this helps.

I believe everything is the same as you did it the first time you got your UT ID, except you would have to apply again but this time for a duplicate ID. Bring all proof of identification etc just as you did before to your local DMV. Hope this helped.

Did you buy a car or something else that needs to be registered and titled? Did you buy something from a private sale? If you did the latter and the seller is free of any encumbrances of the vehicle, then you and the seller need to go to the DMV with the title and have it signed over to you.
