What documentation do I need to take in to renew my license? It is a week expired since I forgot to look at it. Is it true I do not have to take a written exam if its not 6 months expired?

Exspired or not you will need 2 pièces of mail a bill or something that was mailed to you for proof of résidence. Social security card, Birth certificate and about $25.00.. no written exam is required. I had to renew my license almost a year ago. I did have a change of address. Proof of residence, birth certificate and $25.00 was required etc. 😎

If you're address is the same, you will only need your license. If you have a new address, you will need to bring in two pieces of mail. No test is required. No birth certificate is needed to just renew. It is $32 to renew
