I sold a car and purchased another car. Should I bring the old tags with me to the appointment I have Wednesday for the registration of the new vehicle?

Not in Utah. The old plates are to be destroyed and it's supposed to be the responsibility of the previous owner to do that so you can take them up there if you want or recycle them as they are aluminum

That's what I did today. I returned the old plates and they gave me a new ones.
