Would recommend anyone to come here. Great atmosphere and a great place to enjoy your vacation.

Best place for Families to stay and enjoy!

This is a great to place to stay except I was disappointed with Sandy's food venue. I was expecting more but got overcooked food and long lines. Also, no beer or wine at the market...? I know it's a family place but some families actually drink beer or wine with a meal...had to make a Walmart run.

It is very pet friendly. The policy is that you must pick up after your pets. There are stations located around the campground in which you can get bags and throw away bags used to pickup after your pet.
That depends a LOT on which campsite you choose and the time of year. Use the reservation tool on their web site, or call them to get an idea. Could range from about$40-$100+ depending.
Yes. But you must trailer to & from your Site, or park in front designated Motorcycles Only parking area.
They have tent sites, and you can put up 1 tent in the RV sites
Yes, right on the border line of Myrtle Beach and Surfside Beach.
You can use it as long as its battery no gas
Actually they only tent the beach houses and camper lots. Our son wanted to rent a camper last summer and there wasn't that options unfortunately.
We were there last weekend and both the indoor and outdoor pool were opened. The only thing that wasn't open wss the big slides in the water park area. The indoor pool is opened year round.
In 2022, they start scaling back after Labor Day and the rest of the water park facilities will generally close the end of the month, possibly sooner, weather and staff permitting.
Yes you can
Not sure for camping but whatever it is i promise you will be returning....
Myself I honestly don't know, sorry
Rented house and enjoyed everything with family! Shops, restaurants, amusement so conveniently close.
I think so but am not too sure. I would call first. That place is a mad house
Yes, there are multiple bath houses in the campsite area. All of the bath houses are really well maintained and very well stocked!
They just "cruise the strip" and have fun with everybody else! They decorate golf carts with pool floats, lights, pool noodles, necklaces, etc! Just having a good time. I've been the last 2 years, and it's just a good time!
Magnolia Lake within the campground is great fishing. There is a little bridge where people will fish next to the bridge. We caught fish everyday. Sunnies, bass, trout, catfish...if you want to surf fish you need a fishing license.
Yes
Never seen any... Been visiting for over 45 years.
This is ridiculous. If your in severe pain and you can't find anyone what are you supposed to do?? Not a good call Ocean Lakes!
15 minutes with the traffic thistone of year
I suggest you call them directly. This is not their website. Too many variables and I would not want to mislead you. It's a great place to vacation.
No I don't think so. But you can sure walk around all the little side roads or walk to the arcade and the beach. They have basketball courts and I think shuffle board. Great place to get away for all ages.
Mostly houses and spots for campers. Great place to get away for vacation. Close to the beach. Big water park, putt putt golf, and arcade. Close to Wal-Mart and shopping. Love this place. Thanks to our great friend.
25+proof of insurance
Yes. They're right. It must be electric and you have to bring proof of your Homeowners Insurance.
What ocean lakes dose is put the tents by the bathhouse. And you do not want it on the in the very front wind tins to get up to 6 or 7 mps and you want to be as close to the bathhouse as possible. I hope this help you and have fun
Yes. Around 5 to 10 percent of people do
If you are staying on the actual site, it's free to go in and out....if you are visiting the campground there will be a fee
I was camping there a week ago there is a mixture of both grass and concrete pads. I would suggest concrete pad, your camper or rv will not get as dirty especially after it rains.
Yes there are annual sites, I don't know about transportation but there are a lot of middle schools near
It varies upon your site location or if you are renting a house. Most places only rent by the week. I am not sure about the camping. Closer to the ocean and Waterpark more expensive. But around 1800per week is houses More near beach and on holidays...4th of July and labor day prices double
Looked it up for you. Its says " regular store hours." Just make sure to go to the meet n eat not the pool side cafe. Poolside Cafe is rarely open and we always go there when everything else is open.
I would hope they do they have church service
No not until weekend of Easter is what I was told?
$40.00 to $46.00 plus tax a night
No they do not. U have to bring your own. And on some sites they don't allow them. So check at the main office and see if your site allows u to have 1.
I think you just call the front office and they set it up
Yes. They provide storage and will set it up before you come and take it back when you leave.
Call the campground office and they will put you through to to the properties that are for sale they may put you to voice asking you what line you want Camp office property sells or rentals it's a great place❤❤❤
When I was walking this morning (Nov. '21) next to the campground grocery store I saw a couple sitting next to an outdoor camp fire next to their camper. But it is true I have not seen any campfire rings at any of the sites.
They will have some. Download the app, and check into that campsite when you get there. You will get alerts and reminders fornevents
Yes but that don't mean you should... gross
Since houses are all owned by people, there might be different rules for different houses.
I would say evening time before things close for the night
No and on your way to the ocean u my get ran over by a Golf cart
I saw tents, 5th wheelers, toy haulers, single wide trailers, all kind of RVs, we personally rented one of the houses that are on one of the lakes. You can fish from your deck, although you must throw back the kiddos loved it. We had 12 people including 4 grandchildren. I could not recommend a better place to vacation. Once you pull in the park there is no reason to leave, everything is right there, beach, playground, indoor pool, outdoor pool, splash pad, great place to eat, store for supplies you may have forgotten, a game room with over 80 games such as pinball, pool, skeeball, I truly cannot say enough good things about this place. There is an ice cream place AND they have an old fashion ice cream man that drives around the different areas of the park in a ICECREAM truck like when I was a child in the early 70s. I don't believe you can go wrong...even a dog area. 5 stars from me for sure.
We saw several sites that appeared to be permanent. If you are interested i would call. Their security is wonderful and would take very good care of your belongings at a permanent site. If you are concerned about appearances of permanent sites do not worry everything was well kept. They also store RV's and will bring them out to a site you chose, wash them , and set them up. I also met some ladies who bought groceries and cleaned the inside making beds and having the RV complete with food and a place to sleep when you get to your site.
I'm thinking the one next to the visit center...
Call or online
There are a lot that do, not sure with this one though.
Most attractions are open until Labor day
It's included but I'm not sure what months it is open.
I would think so , would have to look at there events schedule
I don't believe the Water Park is open in December.
If u mean fire pits, I didn't see any house that offered a fire pit. But that don't mean none have them.
Each house has its own Wi-Fi code. I'm not sure about the campground
I'm thinking from the Sandy Mart
Myself I only seen the snack bar so i'm not sure if there is a family restaurant. I do believe u have to go off the campgrounds n down the street for a restaurant.
Is the pools open now?? I'm going on vacation
The place is animal friendly but the places you rent to stay in are different. Some of them don't like animals in the homes so you have to check with the people you're renting from if it's ok to have your pets. We rented one house and had to change because she didn't want no animals in the home. Otherwise it's a great place animals and all. Yes all dogs are allowed. No restrictions.
Not RVs to rent but they do sell them. Or they have rental properties available but during this time of year they are probably booked up as many are booked a year in advance.
The rate varies by season. You can check out the rates on their website.
Ocean lakes is very kid friendly. They have water parks arcade and it's right on the beach
Not sure,we only stay a week at a time. My friends store their camper year round and OC pulls it out to a camp site when they reserve. Just call and get a price. They are very reasonable.
There is not an amusement park on the site however there is an arcade, water park and a mini golf course. There is also rentable golf carts which are great for strolling around in at night.
Call Ocean Lakes, I only went to visit friends...
Go to Lack' Beach Service on Google. It's like 32.50 a day. You can rent online and the more days you rent the less it cost.
Hi Patrick - Ocean Lakes is open. See our website for info about Hwy 544. You may want to use an app such as Waze to navigate any roads due to storm.
Unfortunately due to Hurricane Dorian, it is closed. Evacuations were ordered a few days ago.
Hi Heather! We love to have new guests in park, however, our amenities are for guests that are staying in Ocean Lakes at a campsite, rental house or annual lease site. Some campgrounds do offer day passes to non-guests for a fee, but Ocean Lakes does not have the capacity to do that. Every guest is tied to a site via a car pass, reservations, etc.
Hi Bill - some campgrounds do allow for day visitors and charge a fee for the day. Ocean Lakes does not do this, we just do not have the capacity for this. You must be a guest at a campsite, rental house or annual lease site to use our amenities. We do get a lot of locals that take a "staycation" at OLFC! Thanks for checking.
Hi Kim, we apologize that your rental experience with a private rental property manager has led to conflict. You can email (or call) the Main Office at (843) 238-5636 to let us know what site you rented and what the issue is. While we allow our leaseholders to rent privately (without our property management company OLP) it is a private transaction between you and the leaseholder/property manager. So, we are limited in the action we can take. However, we can note it in the site's file and watch for trends with that site. Our managers are always available to speak with and we do want to know if there is a problem. We always recommend renting via Ocean Lakes Properties to avoid any scams. I hope this helps. We do hope you had a good time and enjoyed our campground and amenities and that you can visit again soon!
I utilized an Amazon vault 10 mins away while staying here for something I needed asap unexpectedly.
To cancel you have to call them.
No easy ups but I believe you can have an umbrella
There are numerous ones through out the campground. Normally there is at least one or two to a section.
Your host should get a day parking pass from the gate for ten dollars for your vehicle. They will probably need your tag number.
Ft7, not on the beach anymore though. We used to be able to use pop ups for shade, but they would blow away with the slightest wind and people were getting hit with them, so they banned them. I'm sure you weren't asking about this, but I just felt that it would be good to let you know as well. Have fun:)
Yes, on any sites you can put tents.
Not sure what you mean by size for green and red slip!
They do offer annual leases. Call the lease management office to get answers.
We have a Beach house for wkly rental in Z2..includes golf cart, free Wi-Fi, 3 bdrooms and 2 baths
If U get multiple rentals. I know one house has 9 bedrooms. Call the camp ground check in with them about that. I don't want to give wrong answer.. 51 is alot of people. If I want to do family reniun I know there's a park in murrells inlet behind waccamaw hostipal were my friend does his family functions. U might be able to do the convention Center. Check with camp grounds first. But I like I said 51people lot idk if they will allow 51 in one home
Yes. The area is very large. So depending on which part you stay in. You can walk. They also rent golf carts
Call them, we're just campers
I think you can pay $10 to park inside but you need to be someone's guest. Otherwise, no.
Metal detecting is allowed on the beach. http://lmsmetaldetecting.com/BeachRules.php
Keep on leash outdoors at all times, and please cleanup poop. Enjoy.
310 acres and nearly one mile of oceanfront. https://www.oceanlakes.com/about-us/maps/
Camping is around $30 a night off season and $95 in summer.
In the camp ground area I did see fire pits
If you're towing a camper, you're allowed one extra vehicle at your site. They usually don't enforce that too heavily unless extra vehicles (friends, etc) are causing issues.
Yes, lazy river and pool are amazing, nice beach as well
No limit
Right now it is $42/day for one day. It varies by the number of days you plan on renting it and when you plan on renting.
I wouldnt chance it. There is catasrophic flooding in the area. Some.of the rivers are not even scheduled to crest until mid-week
I've been there for over a month. Some downed branches, sand on the roads, but local rains over the couple of weeks has washed most of it away. A few houses were affected, but have been fixed already. Still as nice as ever. Thank God
Yes
I have seen tents on the camper site. Call to be sure
I believe it varies depending on the lot location, season and duration... I would either call or check the website
Minors cant drive the golf cart
I think at 10:00
Yes,depending upon who you rent from.some owners add a fee just in case there is damage.it's refundable if no damage is found.
They normally celebrate holloween 3 weekend ib think and they have their on display you can go trick or treat for kids
Practically never. It operates year round but watch the weather carefully during hurricane season.
Price of sites depends on proximity to the ocean and whether or not there is a concrete pad. They are about 2 dollars less than sites with pads.
If you cancel within so many days, you recieve so much back..
Check VRBO too. I was just there and did in that way. It was a lot cheaper that way.
Well they are expensive. .what I'f I'm not able to we are 3 blocks back from the beach for a week I don't wanna spend 400+ when I have a car we will have a 5 month old with us also
Call them directly to get a more accurate answer. This is not their website.
Hi Jean! We do not rent motorized chairs. We do have beach wheel chairs that you can sign out from our Recreation Office for 3 hour increments at no charge.
U must be 16 and also legal to drive
Call them directly for more accurate information. This is not their website.
None of the sites are huge, there is a slab for a camper and then room to park vehicles and have a picnic table
I know they have them for sale . Not sure about renting them.
The pools remain open bit the water park facilities are usually closed during the week in off season and open on Saturday and Sunday
No gas carts, also you have to have proof of insurance, and have a license, ocean lakes golf cart sticker is $35
It's for sure best to call and ask.
Actually you can bring tents, but you have to pay the same price as if you had a camper......I was there yesterday, cause my buddy is there and there were people setting up to tents.......so yes you can
Can't on the beach but you can in the campground and its around $60 a night, its extremely nice there, best safest place in Myrtle Beach
No but thanks we have a place to stay
Itd 85.00 a night until after labor day and yes tent camping is fine
They allow you to park them at the front of the campground but cannot ride in campground itself or bring to site
There are steep fines for not picking up after your dog. Please be a courteous neighbor! The beech entrances are usually stocked with doggie bags.
Nope, maybe a scrawny palm here or there. No shade really.
You can buy house in that area. Or you can rent for about a week. On their website look up the type of house you are looking for and there will be some for rent and some for sale
They open up for Easter weekend and then close down until May. May is weekends only until memorial day.
What is your question?
Yes you can tent camp . They even let you put a tent up with your RV for kids
You can camp beach front but not on the beach. But you need to reserve early because there are not many spaces. Pull up the map on web site
You can. You can also buy. And I believe some owners even rent so you may be able to set up an ongoing thing
Yes they have yearly rentals.
There are sites with concrete pads and sites without concrete pads. Most people who tent camp try to get a site without a concrete pad that is near a bathhouse. Section K has a lot of shaded sites without concrete pads.
Yes there are I practically live there but don’t go in the water
Gas powered golf carts ARE NOT allowed. Electric only.
Not on the Beach but on site and have full access to the beach
Yes,well behaved dogs are allowed. There are certain breed restrictions. You must keep your dog under control, and clean up after them.
