There is onsite 24/7 security. It seems fairly secure.
Security is of the upmost importance in Ocean Lakes
The security is top notch! They wont let you in without a parking pass and ID. I would say it's very safe. It's all closed in as well.
It is a large, modern campground. As always you are responsible to secure your own stuff and watch your own children. That being said, it is a quiet, family oriented park. No loud people or partiers.
There is 24 hr security they are always driving around the complete campground. I have always felt safe and been camping with Ocean Lakes since 1984
Yes it's secure, they have golf cart guards patrol the park.
If you are a law-abiding citizen with common sense and you discipline and watch your children then you won’t have any issues with security. We have never had any personal dealings with security, but we have witnessed them in action. They do an excellent job. It’s a very large campground and you just have to be aware of your surroundings, lock up your valuables including your car, and be courteous to others.
