You can camp beach front but not on the beach. But you need to reserve early because there are not many spaces. Pull up the map on web site

Patrick, as far as i know they don't allow tent camping in the beach front. Those sites are for RV's
There are campsites just across the lane from the beach, like just over the dunes, but theres no camping directly on the sand, if that's what you mean.
