Hi Kim, we apologize that your rental experience with a private rental property manager has led to conflict. You can email (or call) the Main Office at (843) 238-5636 to let us know what site you rented and what the issue is. While we allow our leaseholders to rent privately (without our property management company OLP) it is a private transaction between you and the leaseholder/property manager. So, we are limited in the action we can take. However, we can note it in the site's file and watch for trends with that site. Our managers are always available to speak with and we do want to know if there is a problem. We always recommend renting via Ocean Lakes Properties to avoid any scams. I hope this helps. My son has stayed there The last 5 years the first year he had a problem getting his deposit but he contacted the main office and he showed them photos of the problem if you ever go there again something broke take a picture of let them know then
