Beautiful quiet place. Everyone is very respectful of the area and there is no litter anywhere. You can usually find someone selling fresh vegetables. There are several spots to fill jugs at. Definitely talk to the locals to hear all kinds of stories. Please be mindful of what the area means to people..IE watch your language no loud music dont litter...No matter what your religious beliefs are remember this is a sacred place

Beautiful and serene place for the best tasting water in Carolina! Tastes very crisp and clean. I am sure it has minerals just like all natural water does, but it reminds me of country well water, like my grandma's well provided. Awesome!

It was my first time going. The drive was peaceful. The people were friendly and some shared interesting stories about their experience drinking the water. The water is clear, clean and refreshing. I will definitely be returning.

Such a tranquil place. My Lover & I made great friends. This was our first visit. We gathered as much water as we could with a few containers. Thankful to explore & try the blessed water.

Local lore states that it does, however all healing comes from the Creator not the creation. Have faith in keeping his laws, statues, and commandments first, then the Most High can work a miracle in your life thru any means even your own tap water! Beloved the water is mighty fine, the Almighty is finest.
Google it. But its old Indian sacred land that is considered to be God's healing spring. It's located in blackville,s.c. its free and open to the public. Yes people and Indians have been healed by this natural spring that flows from the ground. They have put taps into the ground so you can fill bottles and jugs.
Please be considerate. Many visitors are fragile & sick. Others collect the water for drinking. Let's keep the area pristine & leave our furry friends at home.
Yes it is open to the public & there is no fee. Love to go there
My dad use to take us there when we were kids to cool off , it was freezing & we stayed cool the rest of the day .... I’m 75 yrs. old now & never had any serious illnesses & neither have any of my siblings. We’re all over 70 now. Did not know it still existed & is now a land mark where people can go & get water from now , wow !! How time has changed things.
It couldn't hurt to try its great water I've suffered from back pain for over 7 years and I've been getting water there for a month now. There's been some changes in my pain I believe its because of less alkaline in the water its self which can cause inflammation in the joints. If you go early Sunday mornings is the best time. There can be long lines there . Goodluck I hope it helps.
Someone in the area would have to collect it and then ship it to you.
It's high mineral content water. We drink it and it has a history of healing properties, according to the history.
Yes sarah pets are allowed....there is a small stream where the water runs off that they can walk in Melvin it is located at springs ct. Blackville, South Carolina
No Lodging is about 13 miles away in Barnwell or 26 miles away in Orangeburg
It flow from underground filtered by God to be clean taste just like bottle spring water and the healing properties are reàl I'm a believer I've been healed
They are open every day 365. If you can get there early it doesn't seem to be as crowded. Sometimes there are quite a few people but everyone is friendly and helpful. We are all there for the same thing, the wonderful healing water.
No you cannot there are only "fill points" in the form of pipes on the property
No camping on the site of the spring. Barnwell state park is a suggestion.
It's about 10 feet from the parking lot and yes, it's wheelchair accessible...it's not paved by the springs but it's a hard enough surface to get to the faucets where the water comes out...
The water has healing powers. My husband has cancer and the blessed water has improved his health.
Remember water is heavy. 8lbs per gallon. 40lbs for a 5 gollon plastic jug. I can carry 27 - 5 gal jugs in my 4Runner. Thats over 1000+ lbs of water. Your vehicle's will drive differently with that much water weight inside it. Sharp turns and breaking fast can lead to loss of control. Be safe and plan accordingly for the weight. You can order 5-gal jugs online and buy enough for free shipping right to your house.i have talked to a local about the water. He said that only once in 10 years has he seen the water stop flowing which was during a very dry summer in July.
Yes My grandma can't really move at times and she drank and washed her legs with the water Now she is moving around better than ever Not bad for a person with six conditions
No not at all, Just take in all the deliciousness you can handle. It's good stuff
No you can't the water is ankle deep at best. There were some small children while I was there who sat down in the stream.
I got water on Easter Sunday, and I do keep it in fridge. The longest I kept water , before drinking it was about 7 weeks,, tasted just like I had just filled bottle. Happy Day.....
I agree. Asides from hitting deer with your vehicle on the way there, it's right off the road and completely safe.
No but I use it through a Pur water filter
No not at all
No, it's only a place to collect water reported to have healing properties.
No you cannot order it. You can go there for free with as many jugs/bottles that you want to fill.
No. The kids can wade, splash, and play. This is a spring that forms a shallow creek. It is a water source for many so be respectful. : )
I'm not sure about the affects the water has on high blood pressure, but I am severely anemic and have Crohn's disease and I am in remission. No crisis episodes or outbreaks since I started drinking the water and my doctors don't need to see me for 6 months 😁
It's a very sacred area. So very positive good energy is there. I hadn't known about paranormal activity. Remember though that it's important for us all when we go there to take care of the land, pick up the garbage, leave it better than how you find it, keep the area and water pure.
It's a spring coming from the earth via a few pipes and draining into a stream in a wooded area which is a little muddy. Water is cool and deliciously refreshing. No stairs, no blue.
This lovely water worked for my sister. But now there is no one to pay child support.
There's a stream or call it a creek.... The place is #Amazing.... Bring containers to bring water home...and it tastes amazing and cold...you will love it... It's like an outside library ...
I am testing the theory. I do not think it's an instant cure. The story says after about six months, so it's got to integrate in your cell structure.
It's a very shallow stream, running off from the spigots. I walked in it barefoot.
All I can say is give it a try. U need to take empty bottles to put the water in. It's worth a try. May take a week off drinking 2-3 bottles of water a day to notice the effect if it works for her. Good luck and God bless.
https://scpictureproject.org/barnwell-county/healing-springs.html Per folklore, it could.
