Swann Covered Bridge is currently undergoing renovations but it was not a wasted trip. If you are facing the entrance of the bridge and go to the left it’s an easy walk to a “beach” area that has sand and the water is very refreshing. There is a rope swing and the water is clear and cool! It’s a very beautiful way to spend a hot summer day.

This was a very interesting bridge! I was upset with the vandalism. I know it's hard to keep it cleaned up and I hope with the cameras I saw they got the ones who did this. We should treasure things like this! My goal this year is to travel to all the covered bridges in Alabama with my daughter. I loved the bridge!!

Very beautiful long covered bridge built in 1933. Can cross one vehicle at a time and park on the other side and walk under and down Locust Fork shoreline. Its 9ft wide by 8ft tall 3ton bridge. They have security cameras, which is nice.

Love swann bridge. Parking is very limited. Access is steep to river but good hiking trails around bridge. Nice area. Parking is a big issue.
