Great place of history. The people that work there are really hospital and answered any questions you had.
Torzano bennett
Great little place but watch where you park even on a Sunday. Cost me an extra 100$

Awesome place!!!!

We went there in Nov 2021. You pull up at night and wonder if it’s actually the real Bluebird Cafe because it’s just in a strip mall. But it was wonderful inside and I really enjoyed my visit.

Yes uber is the way and it all depends on what you want to do? Your uber driver will gave many suggestions
You can only make reservations online but, they sell out almost immediately. My husband and I went at one and hung out till 5. We got in with no reservations.
It's on the Shows section of their website.
Yes. Only original material may be performed at the Bluebird. :)
About 15 minutes depending on time of day, which day, and traffic. Could be 10 minutes, might take you 20 minutes.
Parking is tight, at least 20 minutes before
Right there, on the screen, in Google maps. You clicked it to ask this question.
Google bluebird nashville & click on schedule
Good spot and yes cover. Sells out fast usually gotta book ahead
It really varies but 30 mins to an hour. You should be safe...
They open doors at 5 oclock for 6o clock show we wete thete at 440 and thete wad a line 20 or 30 deep just for open seating. First. Come first serve . So good luck we had seats ahead of time , thats a seperate line
There were no kids when we were there, so unless they can remain quiet for an hour during the performance I would say no
Was just there....I did not see any signs they were hiring
The do sell items at the cashier stand. Nice things but I wouldn't call it a shop.
Its Open Mic at 6PM and then we clear the room and its the Mike Henderson Band at 9:30PM.
Was there on a Thursday night, 2 lines at the door. One on each side of it. Didn't seem that long, but we were there early. I'd say hour and half but be on the safe side and schedule for 2.
Very little parking but it's free. Typical strip mall with other businesses. We were lucky. Many take a lyft or cab
We didn't think about asking. It is not very big. Our groupbof 36 filled it up.
Hi Kim, The Bluebird Cafe is in the television show Nashville. The show filmed here in the early days and the show built an exact replica of the club on the set for use in the regular filming. The set no longer exists as the show is finished but our club is still rocking after 36 years. Hope to see you! - erika
I would definitely go on the website and reserve, even for early show
The best way to insure you are considered "First Class" is to make reservations. Actually, I think Blue Bird Cafe is reservation only. It is $2 per reservation and you can set them up to 1 week out. It may be a $2 cancellation fee.... But either way, it is 2 bucks.
This is the place, you can try to walk up but reservations are most advisable.
Yes.
Hi Gary, we do not have a Covid-19 policy at this time.
Some shows are first come, first serve. You should go 2 hours before a show and wait in line.
Hi Kimberly, all reservations can be done through our website bluebirdcafe.com. Typically, Tuesday-Thursday shows go on sale one week in advance at 8 am CT and Friday-Sunday shows go on sale the Monday prior at 8 am CT. Monday shows are all first come, first served. Sometimes there can be pre-sale shows that go on sale earlier. When you click on a show in our online calendar, it lists when that show goes on sale, so you can always check there.
Yes, reservations can be made through our website, bluebirdcafe.com.
Actually the shows begin at 7pm and end at 830PM. A show ends with a closing new singer/songwriter during the first show unless otherwise announced
Hi Tracy, Open Mic shows are every Monday at 6 pm CT. Please see the how to play page on our website if interested in performing on it or our shows page for how to attend.
Hi Sharon, No Garth Brooks will not be coming to The Bluebird. We are hosting a Garth Brooks themed open house event on Saturday where folks can come by and see the place Garth was discovered. No food or drinks served, just an opportunity to see the place and pick up a souvenir.
Hi Raymond, we won't be open just yet for shows during those dates, however, we will be having an open house on Saturday, July 3rd if you would like to come by and see the place, take pictures, or pick up a souvenir.
Hi Carol, we are planning to announce a reopening date in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
None. It's closed
I'm not sure, it was closed due to covid. Wasn't able to go in an experience it.
Hi Dianne, unfortunately will be closed during that timeframe. We hope you can visit us another time!
You can check out their website for times they may be open for selling merchandise but the Opry gift shop has the front, right side of the store dedicated to the Bluebird.
Hi Marian, we are unsure at this time. Please keep an eye on our social media and website (bluebirdcafe.com) for updates!
Hi Becky - The Bluebird Cafe is currently closed due to the Covid pandemic. Not sure when we will reopen - likely next year - updated information will be posted on our website and social media accounts. Best wishes
The Bluebird Cafe is currently not open due to the Covid restrictions. Please check our website and social media for updates on our status. Our normal business hours are 5PM-12AM and, when open, we typically have two shows a night, early and late.
They are usually on Monday nights, however, we are currently closed due to Covid. We are now having virtual open mic nights monthly. More info on our show calendar via our website!
We are still temporarily closed, sorry!
Hi Gayle, The Bluebird will open up as soon as it is safe ro reopen. Our room is very small and doesn't allow for the social distancing measures necessary for current safety requirements. We're keeping an eye on the numbers and hope to be able to open in the near future. Best wishes - erika
Just email them they are quick with responses and last i heard closed til end of July 😢
We are sadly closed for the foreseeable future until it is once again safe for our customers, staff, and performers to be in our small room. Please consult our website show calendar and social media for updates. We hope to see everyone as soon as we can!
Here is a link to our "How to Play" information https://bluebirdcafe.com/howtoplay
Make arrangements in advance. At least 5 days. Call the number of the club listed here on Google
Hi Richard, the venue is not adults only. We welcome all ages - just under 21 cannot sit at the bar as stated below. I will add that the early shows are more family friendly; later shows can often involved adult themed songs.
We welcome all original songs! Check our website for information on how to perform at The Bluebird.
I dont know yet
Getting tickets in person is standby. All tickets are pre-sold.
Yes. BUT consider the kid's age and ability to sit quietly for 2+ hours. If your kids can't do that, PLEASE consider the listening comfort of the other 40 folks who paid to get in and leave all the noisy, fussy, unpredictable kids at home.
I went to a Thursday 6 PM show and got there at 440. I was by myself and 17th in line but able to get in. Don't have any specifics for Saturday though. They have about 8-12 seats in the pew area. But sometimes reservations cancel or no show and more people are able to get in.
We are a listening room, so talking is kept to a minimum during the shows and we only operate around our 2 nightly performances. There is a $10 per person food/beverage minimum at each seat at the shows. If the young person is able to be entertained by a 2-hour acoustic performance and would enjoy it, then they are absolutely welcome. Our menu has choices that appeal to children. The only age restriction we have is that people under 21 cannot sit at the bar.
No. There were a couple kids there when we went. Artist had them cover their ears for a story she told but it wasn't more than a swear word. 😉
Please try and buy tickets online. If you dont get them there before they sell out, then you can go stand in line on show night and see if you can get in
We showed up for a Sunday night early show (with reservation) an hour early and there was a fair size line. It may depend on performers.
Go to the website and call the number for more information!
It is kid friendly but do make a reservation. The music is amazing!
More of a seating partion than a wall You can see all the way through
Yes - queue on the right if you have a reservation.
Maybe wait at the door or call the Cafe and see if there is a cancelation.
U should try to get there 2-3 hours before the show if u do not have tickets and want to get them at the door.
Online and u click on "shows" and it will give u instructions for each one.
Introduce yourself and your done, good luck and hope all goes well for you.
I'm sorry I was not in Nashville last night
About a week in advance. Details are here http://www.bluebirdcafe.com/reservations
They were still in the same place a few weeks ago.
Were you at the early show or late show?
To be honest you are very lucky to get 6 tickets. The venue is very small and standing in line for the extra 2 tickets is reasonable. It's an awesome experience!
Yes you need reservations. If you just go and hope to get in , they said some people are there at 3 waiting in line in Hope's to get in. No guarantee
I think you can only make reservations a week or two in advance.
Usually around 2 weeks prior to the date you want to visit
We paid to reserve, 9 and then had to spend at least $10 in food or drink. Was there 2 weeks ago.
Check online when the tickets for your show are available. Online they sell out in about 10 minutes
It will tell.you on the website calendar if you chose the show i think its about a week ahead
Hi Heidi, During our club hours, we are happy to let folks in to purchase merchandise. The hosts will work with you - around seating the room - and make sure you get a chance to look at merchandise and purchase. There are opportunities to purchase Bluebird merchandise at any of the Opry Stores, including the Ryman Auditiorium during hours we are not open. Thanks for asking! - erika
If you can through!
Hi Steve, I'm sorry for your frustration - the reservation system does indeed randomize each person who is on the site at 8AM CT. It doesn't do any good to go on any early than a few minutes before on sale. As stated in the comment below - you must keep refreshing the page to see updated information. Our small room makes for a great experience but it is very small and there is a huge demand for seats at virtually every show. On any given day, there are often over 1,000 devices on line for each show and there are about 65-70 seats available. Each person averages 4 seats, so it doesn't take long for the room to fill up as you can imagine. One thing to keep in mind - there are very often cancellations the day of the show and we will post those cancellations on the website so you can check the website and our social media to find out about any seats being released later on the the week, closer to showtime. The walk up line is seated from on site cancellations and no shows.
There will be people lining up an hour before the doors open, for a early show, 6:00 to 8:00pm, doors opening 5:30 should be there 4:30. Businesses near by don't like there entrances or parking blocked. Left of door is reservations and right is hopefuls. Good luck. 😉
I picked up my bluebird merch at the grand ol opry. It seems a few of the major attractions carry each other's merchandise.
There is a hopefully line at the door if you can't get them in line. It only holds about 80 people. Usually at least the first 10 in the waiting line can get in because they hold back a few church pews and don't sell those seats ahead of time. Also when in town, check back in line day off show - sometimes tickets for the late show will be there that weren't earlier in the week.
Yes there is a ramp to the entrance.
I doubt they would as long as the 8 month old sits on your lap.
I have seen children there
Best bet is to call. If so, his tickets will be gone in less than 5 minutes, so find out when they'll be going on sale.
Check out their website, details all on it. Typically it's one week to 10 days out to buy from what I remember. Try to buy on line as the take a limited number of walk-ins the night of. Reservations take priority. Our group got lucky the night we were there and they got us all in and seated together.
It is well Southwest of Nashville about 2 miles outside of the 440 loop.
Its so tiny, if you want to go - get a reservation
It depends on the day of the show and what type. Mondays are the day of, or you just wait in line. Tues-Thurs is the week before at 8am CST, and Fri-Sun are the preceeding Monday at 8am CST.
Online
Good for you
