I went to a Thursday 6 PM show and got there at 440. I was by myself and 17th in line but able to get in. Don't have any specifics for Saturday though. They have about 8-12 seats in the pew area. But sometimes reservations cancel or no show and more people are able to get in.
If you do not have reservations go at least 2 hours early , then line up to the right hand side as you're facing the building. The left hand side is for reservations the right-hand side as for people who do not have reservations.
I'd say 4.00 to 5 p.m. to be quite sure that it works out. It's worth it and if it is the late show you can listen to the early show over the speakers while standing in line.
I'd get there early if you don't have a reservation.
We only reserved spots for dinner the pews were behind, we got there on time because of the reservation.
