We showed up for a Sunday night early show (with reservation) an hour early and there was a fair size line. It may depend on performers.
I come about 30 minutes ahead of time, depending on how well-known the musicians are. I find if I get there alone or with one other person, I get better seats because they stick you in empty seats at tables with people who came with reservations for 1 or 2 people. I find I get better seats than were available on the website or even seats when the website said none were available, i. e. at the hostess' podium, right within 3 feet of the person I came to see, or right in the middle of a roundtable of 3 of my favourite songwriters ...
On monday night for the 9:30 pm show, we lined up at 8:30 and got great seats
