We moved to Brighton Valley one month ago and have loved it since. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The townhomes are well renovated and the landscaping is kept trimmed and so beautiful. The community is kept clean and neat which in turn creates resident pride in where we live. Staff is currently making more upgrades to improve the quality of the community. Way to go!

Bug problems. Specifically roaches. I have been dealing with the issue since I got the keys in November. I was told I’d be put on the list for pest control to spray my apartment biweekly. Never happened! If you live above people that smoke be prepared to smell it. All of my clothes smell like smoke and I’m not a smoker! I can’t wait for my lease to be over! Look elsewhere!!!

DONT APPLY! THEYLL STEAL YOUR MONEY Me and my fiance applied for an apartment a couple weeks ago. They kept making excuses why they couldn’t process our applications, kept saying they needed more stuff from us after we provided them with everything. Our quotes that locked in the price were about to expire and they’re prices had gone up to almost $2k for a 2 bedroom. So we found something cheaper and told them never mind. Because they kept saying they needed more from us after we did everything. We toured twice and the first time the lady acted like she didn’t want us living there and said she didn’t think we could afford it. And then the second time they stole our money and gave us the run around. They still charged us $60 each for application fees. AND $250 for an administration fee after we cancelled the applications. They did tell us beforehand that the application fees were non-refundable. However they failed to mention the administration fee wasn’t. So when I asked for the $250 back they said it’s company policy not to give it back if the application was cancelled. Which was not mentioned before. And then they told us that the original unit that we applied for was rented! So why would you have us apply for a unit that was already rented? AND charge us $370 AFTER we cancelled bc YOU couldn’t process the applications? They said it wouldn’t be fair to give us our money back. I said we felt mistreated during our tour and our conversation and they ignored me and stopped responding. DO NOT APPLY! All they want is money and there’s no telling how many people they’ve taken from after all those unnecessary fees. The apartments are okay but not worth the rude staff and definitely not work $2k a month before utilities and other bills. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Brighton Valley checked all of my boxes:Ample space, two bathrooms, peace and quiet (most of the time), and community events! The office staff is very welcoming. There are two pools and a gym with a great TV! Cons: Rent increases should be discussed way before renewal papers are sent out. The loud car guy who revs his engine constantly. The security gate could cause serious damage and should be fixed properly or not used at all. When I first moved in, the gate was not in use by the community for months. Then, an email was sent out that people without their gate card would have to pay for a new gate card. More notice should be given for such things. During the winter months, I was displeased with the fact the apartment sits on a low hill and cars were damaged trying to drive up the hill to get to grocery stores and their jobs. Hopefully price increases will be used on rock salt, shovels and whatever else is needed to clear ice/snow. Overall, great place to live! I would recommend it.
