I have lived at this apartment for over a year and had a few issues before, but the past 6 months have been absolutely ridiculous. As you can see, there is no door to the "Mail Center" and I've attached a few photos of the mailboxes themselves. It has been this way for months. I believe that taking care and repairing these mailboxes is their responsibility. They have ordered new ones, but have failed to put them on because they want to add an extra door for security. They've been trying to add the door for months, and have done nothing else in the meantime to stop our mail from getting stolen. The front gate to the apartment complex has also been broken for months and is open 100% of the time. When I brought this up, they sent me a photo of my lease highlighting the portion that says that they are not responsible for gate maintenance. Also, the kind of door that they're trying to put on the mail center... that exact same kind of door was broken into just days ago with a crowbar. All of the packages in our package room were stolen because this door was broken into. Not to mention we've had multiple break-ins to our cars. I moved in here, understanding that this was a gated complex and it says that on the website, but it does not qualify as that anymore. They have security cameras on the premises and told us that they were trying to hire security, but I was recently told that security doesn't actually prevent anything, so they are not going to hire anyone. While Hope and Julia in the front office are wonderful, this company and this complex are pretty bad.

Package theft, car break ins, old worn apartments, roaches everywhere, the front gate is always broken and wide open so no wonder people steal packages and break into cars, here. Based off of previous reviews, I’m sure I will also be over charged upon my move out for things that were already jacked up to begin with. Rent is going up by $407 a month but yet I have no updates to my apartment or the building in general. $407 a month more is $4,884 a year … what a joke. they’re doing this to push people of color out of the community. I’ve spoken with neighbors who’ve stated that their rent has never gone up that much. But mine is the only one who happens to be going up by that much lol the staff is friendly until you’re an actual resident here .. then they don’t answer the phones, respond to your requests or even care about you or the unit you’re renting.

This is the first place my wife and I have lived since just getting married this past year and we truly couldn't be happier. The staff and maintenance team are quick to respond and are exceedingly helpful and kind. We are so grateful for Ms. Patty, Arienne and Joe! We highly recommend The Preserve at Brentwood and are grateful for our time here.

Hope was the most helpful and kind person through a horrible time that I was going through. I’m as approved instantly as she guided me through the process and I was handed keys two after the paperwork because of my unforeseen circumstances. She made my tears turn into a smile and that’s why I choose this property. Oh and my apartment is super cute and my son loves his big “cool” closet :)

No. The heating is electric. Also no grilling in the patio but there are electric grilling stations near the main pool.. and (I think) the car wash area.
