Belmar Beach does allow "tents". A full blown gazebo may be pushing it. The beach is patrolled by police who enforce the rules and ordinances . I'd give the beach a call in advance and give your gazebo dimensions to confirm just to be sure.
In comparison, Avon-By-The-Sea, just up the shore, flat out does NOT allows "tents" . They do allow "sport umbrellas", however.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking, but if you are asking how far it is to the water, figure about a 300 foot walk from the road to the water, if my memory serves correctly. There is a blue sand mat runner laid across the sand that stretches halfway or so up the beach, which makes for easier walking, especially if you need to pull a cart/cooler or push a wheelchair. As for what you can bring, check out the beach website or township regulations. I do believe you will need to purchase a beach pass to go during the daytime. I hope that helps.

We have been going every week it is $9 a person ages 16 and up under-16 is free. If you have handicap license or placard parking is free and that is for any spot not just the blue handicap parking. If you take your time driving next to the board walk you can get a parking spot from someone leaving. A lot of people go walking or morning activities. And a lot of people also rent places there and are constantly leaving and coming back. So just watch for people if there's no parkinglook for them to be carrying things off the beach then you know to watch for their parking spot. In 13 years I have never not gotten one.. just have patience sometimes it may take 20 minutes but you will drive up and down slowly looking. Beautiful beach excellent time worth the wait

And the ages 15 and under is free. As of the child 16th birthday they have to start paying if you have handicap placard or license plate it is free to park. Otherwise make sure you pay the machine under your lot number they will ticket you. Even if it's not a handicap parking spot and you have a handicap license plate or placard parking is free in any spot
