It's a public beach .. I believe it is always open. In the summer you have to pay. The rest of the years it's free
The beach is always open for visitors. Badge checkers are only there from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Lifeguards are not on duty after the season ends amd you should ALWAYS swim only when lifeguards are on duty
