The tour was great. We got to see 3-4 different young humpback whales and the announcer was very knowledgeable on the species. We also saw a couple pods of bottlenose dolphins which was again accompanied by a good amount of info. The captain decided not to spend too much time around each whale so as not to bother them, and this proved to be fruitful because the last whale we saw lunged out of the water multiple times and proved amazing for photo opportunities! Would recommend.

Don’t put this trip off like I did.. Great crew and great group of people.. beautiful sunny day and we saw our first whale spout in less than 30 minutes. The whales we saw keep surfacing, diving and tail slapping.. I’ll probably go back before the season is over…. Thanks to the captain and crew. PS a big shout out to the PHD student from Rutgers who was the onboard marine biologist….Lance Morrow, Summit, NJ

There is plenty of free parking and there is also some paid parking for people who like to be closer but there’s plenty of free parking there’s no reason to pay

Is it a speed boat ? Do I need reserved seating ?

Eliezer Bodansky | Sep 8, 2022
Kristina Mendez | Sep 8, 2022

No it is not a speed boat and there is no reserved seating. You can purchase tickets there if I remember correctly but if you buy online through the site you get a guarantee of seeing a whale, if you don't see one you get a free return trip.

Currently masks are still required for just getting on the boat when you’re seated away from other people you don’t need to wear a mask and the best time of day to go is when we go in the afternoon that’s when the whales are most active and they’re easier to find. We guarantee you will see a whale on our trip.
