Belmar Beach does allow "tents". A full blown gazebo may be pushing it. The beach is patrolled by police who enforce the rules and ordinances . I'd give the beach a call in advance and give your gazebo dimensions to confirm just to be sure. In comparison, Avon-By-The-Sea, just up the shore, flat out does NOT allows "tents" . They do allow "sport umbrellas", however.

Yes you can but I wouldn't recommend it, because the wind is usually very strong! Just make sure you keep it weighted down and get there before noon if your going on a weekend!
