First time back for quite awhile. The campground is beautiful. Nice sites, excellent bathhouse. Looks great and very well taken care of. Wildlife all around

The maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights at any one campsite you can switch out campsites as You wish until you reach 42 days consecutive. 42 consecutive days requires a five night absence. And my two cents, a fantastic Park with very little negative to say about it.
They have rustic tent camping which is closest to the beach access. We were just there 2 weeks ago. There's no power hookups or water on site but the bathhouses are very close and convenient. And you can also use a tent on the tent/RV sites- which do have power and water.
Yes, there is a large section right on the beach front for tents. No electricity but amazing views. Beautiful campground.
Yes sure is, the camp site is open year around, but I would highly recommend reserving a few weeks or months ahead to insure you get the right spot you want as they do fill fast.
Very close to the beach, within 3/5 minutes waking time, from camper... Great place
The entrances to the state park and it's campground are separated. There is no direct access to either from the other except by the beach. Your camping pass/car tag gets you into the park.
I wasn't bothered at all by bugs. But when camping always keep bug spray in your bag. Also, sun screen we got a little burnt.
I'm not sure about the horseshoe crabs but there are tons of the little fiddler crabs all around in summer
Nothing bigger than 40 ft according to site map. Check it for size
If the Rangers didn't bust you the mosquitos would have drained all your blood by morning.
Yes, it is one of those fold over and back deals attached to the fire ring.
Yes
I don't know if there is a monthly rate but there is a fee.
Normally open 10 -3:45 PM might need to call 843-838-2011
Just camper spaces and tent sites.
Yes, different prices for different seasons. Check their website or call them. Happy camping!!
Each night is about 50 bux or in that range so it would cost you about a 100 bux. Check in and check out is 3 pm I believe so you're stay is 2 nights. That price is for rv full hook ups I might add.
I think maximum stay is 2 weeks. Rates vary by season. Check their website or call the park. Staff are very helpful.
2 one has you exit the camping area an one after check out on road to leave park
