I wasn't bothered at all by bugs. But when camping always keep bug spray in your bag. Also, sun screen we got a little burnt.
Not for the faint of heart! Bug repellent is an absolute must.

Can you avoid paying fees for a spot by going far into the woods and putting up a hammock for a night?
