Worst tone use by a guy named Zonnie he was rude and wasn't focused on the giving the customer (me) the attention I needed I wasn't rude. When I asked to speak to a supervisor bc my money wasn't being used properly for the services I requested he acted as if he didn't hear me

Worst connectivity in the region, if you can, use Carolina Connect. Spectrum service drops at least 3 times a day. I have literally seen a lineman hitting a box with a hammer.

HORRIBLE Customer Services from Jennifer Thomas and others at Time Warner and it was how they were and they treated there Customers. Now that Spectrum has taken over it's just gotten horribly worse. I was with them for over seven years and I just couldn't take it anymore and left because everything they do and did were all horrible. I hope things have gotten better.

Can I go to my local office and start mobile service instead of having it shipped?
Updated Jan 2022, no you can not return equipment here.
Yes, you should be able to, but it would be a good idea to call them first.
This location does not accept payments at this time please visit the spectrum store on Harbison RD or other locations near you. Also the spectrum app, website, and customer care all can take payments remotely if you have non cash payment options
When you say you can’t get a tech out are they refusing to send a technician? Rain shouldn’t affect your service unless the power is going on out/power surges. Also how old is your equipment?
This depends on your package when it comes to "cable" there are numerous streaming services and available cable packages for all spectrum customers. Prices and availability can verie by market. Best bet is to call Spectrum customer care, review online, or go into a local store. Remember when reviewing package pricing some prices reflect new customer promotions.
No, there is not
This location does not accept bill payment or equipment returns. It's a corporate office hosting installation and and other employees. Please review spectrum.com for local store hours and availability
Use a vpn for remote viewing or if trying to manage your account call national customer care.
The Spectrum location at Platt Springs road is currently only a call center. The store side that was open to customers is no longer located there. however, you can find two Spectrum stores open in the Columbia area at harbison and five points
You can return your equipment in the office in 5 points on Harden st or at the store in Harbison
They are closed down, you will have to go to the harbison location per the sign on the door
The Platt Springs office is now shut down. They have offices open in Irmo and Five Points
Location is closed. There are 3 offices still locally open. One on Harbison in the shopping center behind Olive Garden, one on Harden Street, just off of Five Points, and one in the Polo Road plaza. No appointments needed, but only the Harbison location is open on Saturday.
I called and was told it was permanently closed. Directed me to Harborson location.I said not going to drive that far from Lexington.
Have it ported
Most of the time when the cable comes into your house it is split off so service is still working at your home it must be the box. I would unplug the Box and leave it for 5 minutes then plug it back on and let it reboot.
I believe that now that they do Spectrum Mobile that you can do it at this location.
It's not an outage… and if it is, it's local to you. Meaning it could be someone near you digging or a large truck knocking out your leg. You definitely have to call in to get a service technician out to know for sure
Depends on the wifi setup. Usually done by the homeowner/resident. Look into the manufacturers support online based on your wireless router's make and model. Hope this helps. You can change your wifi settings from a computer or device in the home on the network.
I never waited in a line the 3 times I've been.
No! My cable is working.
You return equipment to a customer service representative. The entrance is on the east side of the building near Bojangles. There is a handicap ramp as well as stairs. When you enter the customer service area you must take a number from the kiosk near the door.
Spectrum dont set up tvs, they set up the cable for it. Id call best buy geek squad. I set mine up myself its quite easy. Unless your hanging on the wall. If so call a pro
Depending on the speed you want. You can get 100Mbps speed for around 60 a month unlimited data usage. I have 500Mbps for around 90.00 a month hope that helps
They probably bundled something
Contact internet support and ask can they send out a tech to test your wifi strength and have them install a signal booster. In the meantime if you have cable to. See if you are using the same line for both. Sometimes when you have one line spliced to support both the modem and cable box. It causes the internet signal to be weak/spotty. If so have them run a separate line for the internet. These are problems I had at first but now it reliable. Your first bill is higher sometimes because of an install fee is added to it. If you did a self install, call customer service, they will remove it if so. Since your box outside is open. They should come out to address that for free. Hope the info was helpful.
The local office in West Columbia does not take incoming calls. You have to use the toll free number.
