Contact internet support and ask can they send out a tech to test your wifi strength and have them install a signal booster. In the meantime if you have cable to. See if you are using the same line for both. Sometimes when you have one line spliced to support both the modem and cable box. It causes the internet signal to be weak/spotty. If so have them run a separate line for the internet. These are problems I had at first but now it reliable. Your first bill is higher sometimes because of an install fee is added to it. If you did a self install, call customer service, they will remove it if so. Since your box outside is open. They should come out to address that for free. Hope the info was helpful.
The Box on the outside of the house should be closed and sealed by Spectrum, I also have problems with the wi-fi not connecting well. Unfortunately you're probably going to have to call the customer service to get some help.
Mine goes in and out as well. Haven't figured out the issue though. We even got a different box.
Thank you very much! Very helpful! The quote they gave me for the total installation and one time fee was less! I'm hoping they don't have to put another hole into the brick of our house to run those seperately, because our house is looking like swiss cheese already! Thanks again!
