Overpriced for small apartments, $1000 for under 800 square feet is a bit much. While the landscape is beautiful and well kept and the maintenance staff is helpful, responsive, and friendly..the office staff leaves something to be desired. Upon adding my spouse to my lease, they extended my lease without properly informing me. Anytime you correspond with Jasmine it comes across that you are a huge inconvenience for her to have to deal with. They are slow to respond to any sort of technological inquiry. I had to email them 3 separate times to receive a curt response back. Upon move out, I was denied my entire deposit, claiming almost $600 for carpet cleaning in one bedroom that had no stains and a fingernail polish spot in the living room. I moved into an imperfect apartment but was expected to leave a spotless place, leaving one to assume they were not planning on cleaning between tenants. At one point, trying to park, the office manager herself was blocking parking spots and refused to move. If at all possible, avoid living at this location.

If you’re looking for apartments look elsewhere!! The people who answer the phone are always rude and condescending. They have high prices for terrible floor plans and horribly confusing protocols. I have an ESA that I didn’t know I was supposed to tell them about. They didn’t try to help they just wanted to be right. They gave me a paper for a doctor to fill out. I admit I didn’t understand that it had to be filled out by a doctor the first time they called. The second time I think was a week later (I admit that’s a long time). I have a full time job and am barely ever home so you can understand I hadn’t had the time to do that yet. Instead of calling they came up to the door when I wasn’t home and berated my younger sister. When I called them today they finally told me it had to be filled out by a doctor and when I asked for a little more time to get it to a doctor and get it back, the person who answered said that I could either pay $600 or be given a 30 day vacate notice. As you can understand I am in disgust with how this was handled. They don’t care about the residents just their ego getting boosted. I’ve moved many times in my life and these are the rudest apartment associates I’ve ever met. Will definitely be moving out at the end of my lease.

We are going on our third year here and overall it has been good. The staff is awesome and go above and beyond to resolve issues and concerns. Our maintenance requests have always been tended to in a timely manner. Any time we visit the office we are greeted with a smile and feel important. Heather, Nick, Lezlie, Matt and Jesus are the best! Most of the negative reviews I read here are obviously issues that the tenant brought on themselves. Yes, there is an issue with a lack of unreserved parking, but paying a little extra for a reserved spot is totally worth it (in my opinion). Rent is a little too pricey considering the age of the structures, the outdated appliances, and the lack of interior space. But I like it here, so when we are due to renew our lease next year maybe we can downgrade to a one bedroom on the first floor instead of moving elsewhere. I have even recommended Fountains of Denton to a co-worker that is needing to move soon, and he said he and his wife have visited and are considering moving here.

Well they increased my rent to price me out of this place. I guess they don't like people who are quiet and pay rent early each month. They wanted me to pay over $1000 for a one bedroom. I just checked the website and my unit is back on the market for when I move out for lower than what I ever paid for it. Seems they like resident turnover so if you're looking to stick around, this isn't the place. I left my original review below for transparency or whatnot. I love living here. It's quiet, I can't hear my neighbors at all. It's a very safe and secure place and a lot bigger than other one bedrooms in town. Maintenance has always responded and solved the problem within 24 hours or less. The leasing agents in the office are always welcoming and friendly as well. They never act like my questions are burdening them or that they don't want to work with me. The gym just got new equipment and the pool is nice. There's a dog park if you want to have a space for them to run around. But there's lots of animal waste all over the complex that nobody picks up. But that's the residents' fault, not management's. The only cons are the lack of non-covered parking, especially in the back corner, and the high rent prices. I wish it were more affordable here. Also, there aren't students all over (though there are some), which is hard to find in Denton. Mostly families, young couples, and singles living here

You would need to call the office for that specific information, as it varies by floorplan. However, I can tell you that the monthly rent here is higher than most other apartments in the immediate vicinity. But from personal experience visiting the other nearby apartments, the Fountains of Denton are more adequately maintained and have better staff and better quality of residents.
