Clean, small and not too crowded. Love to take my kids, play in the sand and lake. Very much feels like a lake.

Great place. Well maintained camp sites. Easy access to lake for fishing kayaking swimming and hiking. Still only 30 mins from Albany and 10 mins from grocery stores etc so great balance. Have wood and ice at camp for sale. Free for over 62 and Vets if get NYS passes.

Yes, but there aren't that many good fishing spots. If you really want to fish Thompson's lake, you should bring a kayak.
