Beautiful trail around the lake as well as nice, clean and shaded picknick areas.

Large park, with trails along the water, many benches and picnic spots. Closes 7:15 at night, so don't get locked out. Rangers drive around the park and notify everyone before closing time. Kids will enjoy large and creative playground. It is made of used tires, some if which are huge and lots of fun for kids of all ages. There is a volleyball court, just bring your ball. As you roam around, you will stumble upon some interesting sites and objects, like agricultural art pieces. It is quiet and serene in the evening, great place for a relaxing walk.

I have not heard of any in the 5 years I've been in the area.
You can fish from shore. There aren't piers or docks but pretty much the entire shoreline is accessible
There are benches and tables pretty much anywhere you can park. Like every other state/national park
Arriving early earlier than everyone else in the morning can move your table away where you want to leave it ready. Choose your grill. Leave it with your charcoal.
That house was located in granite, md..been razed no longer there
There is no admission to the park from Monday through Friday. Canoes and Rowboats: $8/hour or $28/4 hours 2 Person Pedal Boats: $8/hour or $28/4 hours 1 or 2 Person Kayaks: $9/hour or $32/4 hours 4 Person Pedal Boats: $12/hour or $40/4 hours Pontoon boat tours: Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.: $2 per person (private tours available by reservation on weekdays only)
No paved trails. However, very walkable in a good weather. Just avoid the couple of days immediately after a rain.
Yes
The Lakeshore Trail is one of five trails in the park. It is used by walkers, joggers, and cyclists. It takes about an hour and a half to walk it. You can park at the Boat Center or Kingfisher Overlook for easy access to this trail. N.B. Trails are not paved and can be a bit treacherous due to exposed tree roots which can trip an unsuspecting walker or jogger.
No hunting here but other Montgomery County parks have managed deer hunting in season
Some birds, deer and small reptiles . There are a lot of trails outside of the main part where you might see something.
Haven’t seen any bears nor coyote during the summer, I assume they won’t come out much during the daytime
I 've never tried it, so I don't know. But I am sure you can do it because I always see people on the boats there....
On the weekends is $3 per person during the week day it's free and I suggest whoever is having the picnic to get there early as possible so you can have a good section it gets crowded really fast on the weekends. The earliest I suggest is around 8am on the weekends
You only pay $ 10 per car and the space is ample, you don't need to reserve or pay for the space when you want to go see the place, it is something wonderful you will like it.
Yes
No because of the situation still everything is closed
No but I saw people out on paddle boards that were "falling in"
No the boat rental is closed you can bring your own boat there were paddle boards, kayaks and rafts when i was there on 7/3/2020
Yes, weekdays are free, during all spring and summer time.

Is fishing allowed from shore and are there areas to do that?
$ 3.00 adults and children under 12 years old do not pay
Just as an FYI. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Park_Passport_Stamps
You can play music, but I'm not sure if there is a senior discount to rent pavilions.
No camping allowed at Seneca Creek State Park. Check this link on where you can camp in Maryland http://parkreservations.maryland.gov/
It is a very nice place to fish and walk with your puppy
There is no waterfall located in Seneca Creek State Park. However, there are falls located nearby, at Great Falls on the Potomic River
No charge 4 parking, not sure about the grill ,you can call n ask
Yes it can
As long as you use the park grill you should be fine.
Remember there are private properties along the trail and you must respect the local airspace laws (i think its 250' above the roof line) and their privacy.
There is a crude baseball field with a backstop behind home. After you go in take your first left and you'll see it on your left. Contact the park to reserve.
It was filmed in Burkittsville, MD
There are at least 2 within a couple miles. The closest is one behind Lake Forest mall.
