The service here is not comparable to what is offered in Germany. You have rented a car, are used in a row and then simply choose one of what feels like 20. There is a key in each car, sit in and when you drive out, the car is briefly scanned and the driver's license checked. If a car has a defect, you go to the office with its picture, talk to it, and you're good to go. After the big storm, the trunk was full of water, we drove to the rental company, parked the car, gave a short notice and could simply go find someone else. Diesel service in diesel simplicity is unthinkable for us. Great

Total rip off!!! We were in Orlando during Hurricane Ian, and the airport had closed, so our flight was cancelled. As a result, we had to keep the car for another day. Alamo charged us over $178 for ONE day!! That is outrageous! I’ve heard of other rental car companies totally scamming their customers, but I didn’t expect that from Alamo. We have been faithful Alamo customers for years. Never again! And we will advise all other travel contacts to avoid them as well. Bad form, Alamo!

Just want to give a HUG Shout out to ROME, THANK YOU SIR!! Rome helped me out leaving the rental car area even though i was with a different company. He went above and beyond for me by helping me out. Extremely grateful!! Thanks again Rome!

Good experience! They were assigned to me randomly through Priceline for a good rate at the MCO airport. They weren’t too pushy about coverage or usage. There were a few vehicles to choose from and I had more options since I was offered a free upgrade. They weren’t particular about me returning it a few minutes late due to traffic therefore they earned their 5 stars.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
Yes they do but you need to sign up with Alamo as well. I think there's a 3.95 daily fee plus the tolls
Max age
Only if you have a return ticket. In other words round-trip ticket home you can use debit otherwise no. Oh and you need to be 25 plus
It happened the same thing with me, bunch of thieves, if Brazilian is very careful, they offer a thousand things and if you do not understand already charge, and I went with everything paid by the site rentcards and still charged me gps again, which I had already paid . When I delivered the car he said that he had no pending and no debt, when I arrived in Brazil he charged me $ 209 of gps that I had already paid. I sent all the documentation to the credit card and the card did not withdraw.
Equivalent means that if you do not have a challenger available, you get the sports they have, happened to me and I was told that a Camaro, and your girlfriend if you can handle if you add as additional driver.
I have a master card logo debit/credit card, can I use it to rent a car with Alamo?
I rent from them 3 times a year. I have heard the staff speaking Spanish to customers ever time I am there
Very good experience with Alamo car rent ..
Sooo easy. Especially if you are a member (free to sign up) and do "skip the counter". Just cross street & pick whichever car (in class you reserved)
I arrived 2 hours late to Alamo around 8pm and so although they were low on midsized cars they offered free upgrade to a Crossover.
I'm not a lawyer. This is not legal advice. A hang tag is issued to a person. This means you can take it with you. It's my understanding that the full faith and credit clause of the Constitution may lead to other states respecting your hang tag, just as they respect your out-of-state driver's license. The license plate is assigned to the vehicle and not the person. I'd call a local police department where you would visit if you're worried. For a quicker answer, call the resort where you're staying. They'll accommodate you just fine. I work in Orlando. They'll take care of you at any resort.
They do have last minute specials, keep checking their site. I've gotten some good deals, but last month they had nothing much.
Yes
Good car impeccable, but they are scoundrels from Uruguay and I went with everything arranged but when I arrived in Orlando they wanted to charge me a help service and well I hired him for the doubts, when I return to Uruguay I go to the travel agency and they tell me not to I had to have paid nothing because I was all inclusive or they do the verse and I do not like that, that is, first and last time I rent in Alamo.
There is an entrance for rental vehicle returns. Marked really well
I picked mine up at B. But I went to the counter and was crossing to the garage in 3 minutes.
I'm sorry. I have no idea. I would call them directly.
The cars rental is right at the airport garage. No shuttle needed. Walk right out of the airport building and you are there. Just follow the signs to car rental.
Aslong as they have a drop off point there you can drop off anywhere just have to make sure it says where your dropping it off on your booking
It's in terminal A and B
Call Alamo
The website will tell you
The cost for a week is 300 usd with full insurance
It Is Travel 👍 👍
You need to contact the office where you rent the car to let them now and they can't get you a better rate or price and sometimes when the person don't notify they goona stay with the car all does day they gonna charge all the money you own in your credit card in charge only i recommend you to call and let them know
Driver license and credit card
About $3.50.
If you have a return ticket they absolutely do. And they only charges 50$ extra to use debit
They have Alamo at both the MCO Terminals A and B
There is a $200 deposit(hold). They will sometimes put the $200 hold AND the price of the rental on your credit card. It all depends on the car rental representative.
If you mean rent Ford's, at Alamo you reserve the size of car, SUV, or truck you want. Once there you choose which vehicle you want in your chosen catagory. There is not a guarantee what make of car is available
Try +1 844 3703164. Good luck
There is a small building, when you exit the ground floor multi storey carpark, heading toward the terminal on foot.
Unfortunately left items in rental cars 😣 is the responsibility of the renters. But I would call the corporate office. Make sure you have a list of all items missing. Also find out if any insurance on your credit card covers lost 😡 or stolen items... I hope this helps good luck 🙏
You check in online so when you arrive tou walk straight to garage show staff the confirmation and go pick a car 5mins max is all it takes I recommend the online check in as the cue can be quite large for desk check in depending on time of day and how many flights arrive same time as you
I only answer questions asked in Portuguese
You fix that when you rent. You can leave it at the miami airport or local in miami but you must arrange it at the time of rental
Desks are on the lower level. Vehicles are a couple of minutes walk from there
Hello Phil, I'm not sure my suggestion would be to contact them or go online to there website select the vehicle you want and when you get to the add-ons page see if one is available for rent.
No thay don't sorry
That, I do not know. I suggest you call the company, & they can give concrete information. Sorry I could not help you!
Visit www.Alamo.com for the best rates on your selected dates.
Great Question! You will have to call them for this answer. However it will be additional coast.
They don't care if you land or if you are allready in the Orlando.
Is your question, can you leave your alamo rental car temporarily in alamo at MCO to pick up friends? If so no, alamo at MCO is for collection and return of rental vehicles. MCO provide free drop off and pick up zones or use the parking garages.
Yes alamo does charge a drop off fee also known as one way rental. Prices can be found when you book online at Alamo and entering your trip duration.
Should be premium gas. Easiest way to tell. Take off cap, if there is an insert to make the hole smaller, them most likely gas
Normally it is possible. If there is so much leasing between your City and LA possible they don't charge any fee.
Call they probably have an attendant their early for drop offs.
alamo uses Toll by plate system. can pass in the tuition and will be charged to the credit card
If you feel like you may need it longer, it is probably better to rent for longer or set your drop off time later.
Yes, however, I believe that's an extra charge. What I do is connect my phone through bluetooth and use the navigation on my phone. Saves me a few extra dollars. Hope this helps and save travels.🙂
I believe they are just a partner but not the same company
I don't think that they will ding you, most bugs washed off of our rental! Watch out for Flooded areas!
Use rentalcars.com or rentcars.com
Right at the airport, about 100 yards out the door in front of the rental desks.
Major credit card or debit if you have a return ticket driver license and at least 25 years old
You can do it
I believe so Contact them ... Send an email to report the event
I do not recall seeing any pick ups with a cover when I was there almost a year ago.
If you have the confirmation #, you can look it up in the app or website
May be a devotee
Sorry I don't know that best call the rental company as soon as you can.
It all, depends on what, deal you have already, they could be local taxes or insurance
Despite ours being in perfect condition there was a really hefty mileage charge. You need to clarify that with them although finding someone who knew what they were talking about was something of a challenge.
If it is the Orlando International airport, be aware of the right hand turns and the rental car parking floor
Yes, at the airport inside the terminal or please use a map App too search.
Ok
Definitely need a credit card
Yes. No problem. There are always
Yep, perfect answer. Drive in, somebody will point to where to park. Pull up, get out, grab your suitcases and go. Leave keys in car or pass to staff who approach you. From pulling up to walking off with our suitcases took about 60 seconds!!
I don't think that it matters much. The main thing is to be over 25 years old.
It is charged directly to the credit card.
Alamo charges the toll fees to your credit card.
The best option is to call them directly let them know the situation but I believe they are able to do something for you they might charger a higher deposit
Enter the page and consult you can reserve without obligation the price depends on the season, that date is high
Contact the respective airline by phone. There may be a modification fee
With extra payment you can ask all accesories, but be careful with Alamo they always charge extra to your credit card
You can park your car at MCO. They are charging $17.00 a day. It will be cheaper if you use one of the Park and Pay near MCO. They offer shutter to MCO. If you check Alamo online, you dont have to go to the Alamo counter. Just go to the car rental garage and pick your car.
Be careful with alamo, always they charge extra money to your credit card, even if you pay before, with hotwire for example
Yes you can do that. It's unlimited miles allowed.
We had the car for about a week and only had to fill up the car using $20. They would have charged more if they had to fill it!
Yeah pretty much
Thank you so much my friend good morning to you
It is ok, the Alamo at Orando airport is open 24 hours, so you should be fine.
Best call amd check. I was under the impression that using sunpass would auto charge to the alamo car
All car rental companies are on the lower level (First floor) of the airport
A Traverse will seat seven. So will the Ford Explorer.
They charge $ 200 if you do not have a credit card with logo visa or MasterCard, when returning the vehicle they return them
There is a walkway with signs that will point you to the parking garage that also has the car rentals. It's very easy to find after you get your bags.
Yes.
If you are an Alamo rewards member you don't have to put any money down.
No, only if you upgrade and pay for it.
It depends. When you rent you are offered to pay the cost of a full tank so when you return the car you deliver it as is. If you do not choose that option you have to fill the tank before returning it.
I've always picked up my rental from Alamo from Terminal A so I'm not sure if they're located in Terminal B. The rental counter is located on the ground floor and you walk across the street on the walkway to their vehicles. Once you pick up your rental, follow the exit signs that lead you out of the garage and to the surrounding major roadways. You can head to I-4, 417, 528 and more. Hope the response helps... Enjoy!
Alamo desk is next to baggage carousels. Car pickup is just across the street. Easy walk to both.
You'd better contact Alamo directly. A phone number should be on the papers that came with the car. Or Google might know the phone number.
Rental car companies need a credit card or a bank debit card on file to rent their vehicles. I've rented vehicles over 100 times and have always needed to present a credit card.
I don't know for sure. Florida accepts SUNPASS, which is direct withdrawal from your bank account. I ended up paying cash at the ridicously many toll plazas in and around Orlando.
No alamo 24/7 with a smile and kindness at all times
Yes, check with there website. This alamo location is great!
I rented from the airport when I arrived at MCO and it is unlimited mileage and good price.
If you had already paid the full amount of the rent and returned it full of gasoline, it could be the tolls. Either way he calls and investigates, I have a friend who was given money back for an error.
It puts the name of the hotel of insurance sometimes it puts you the address the gps only
You have to call the main number. They never answer at this location.
Not required but the international license makes things easier.
The parking garage where you return the car is right across from the airport entrance.
No you don't need to show proof of insurance but it's good to have. You can either pay your own tolls or request a toll trasponder your preference
They are open 24 hours 7 days a week
In order to leave it in Miami, you just have to set up your rental that way. When booking online, just select where you will pick it up AND where you will drop it off. You need to request gps at the time you make your reservation. But using your smart phone is easier and free. Googles maps is awesome! If you have insurance at home, it most likely covers car rental...check with them before you book. Also, if you pay with a major credit card, most have car rental insurance standard. Check with them before you book the car. If you have either of those, do NOT get the insurance from the car rental company, not matter how hard they try to sell it to you.
Don't think there is a limit...Did my reservation a few months before tho. Hope this helps.
