We had the car for about a week and only had to fill up the car using $20. They would have charged more if they had to fill it!

I declined all coverage but I would check with your insurance carrier and also Alamo directly just to be sure. There are about $20-40 in extra fees...also take the gas option. Gas prices are up and its not worth the hassle of filling up before returning the car.

I agree with Ashley... I travel to Orlando from NY twice a month and stay any where from 3days to a week at a time and i fill up the car myself and it's usually alot cheaper than prepaying it. I tried that prepaid option one time I was there for 5days and I barely made it to have a tank of gas, I actually decided to then just drive around anywhere just to try to consume the gas since I paid for it and only made it half way. Personally I think it's a waste. As far as taxes it depends how long ur staying for but usually that amount is already calculated in the total u booked the car for. Other than that I dont think there are any other charges other than deposit fees.
