Very rude and not compassionate.
If you go here they will refer you to a shelter. The sooner you go the better. I have my son and daughter with me now we are residents at another shelter! Hoping you the best!
Go to 1430 cherry st 8 to 3 Mon. to Fri except holidays.

Hi; they have a program here in Philadelphia that assists families as well as others in need. You can access them by dialing 215-686-7150.
Ive seen them provide shelters for families. Its really a center that would connect you to the best suitable place depending on your situation. Wish you the best if luck during times like this
I guess they can but it will be mire difficult.
Yes
I don't believe that would be true altho I'm not really sure. But they do help in paying your move-in money if you're seekung Affordable Housing. Have a plan B look for something y'all can deal with for now...ask the person you would be renting from if they accept "Rental Assistance"? If so..you'll need a letter from them askung for the dollar amoynt needed to move in. Include all info that may be needed frim the Rentor(landlord) all contact info. Fax..Cell. They help families I kno but I'm not sure if they split families up😟. Once you get there ask for every resource that you may need..don't leave empty handed...I hope thus helps?? Stay Strong
Yes, all u need is your social security card...even if u dont have it they eill tell u to bring it another time
No there is no waiting list you have to go there and they will set you and your family up in a night to night shelter until they can place you into a permanent shelter

@jasmine do couples share rooms with each other.. like 4 people in a room with 2 beds ?
Depends on availability
Yeeeeeessssss
Yes. The office for rent asst is upstairs
The urgency is different for everyone. If you stay on top of them you shouldn't have to wait long. I went in and was back the next day to speak with my caseworker. After that they had me call salvation army for shelter. I was placed less than a week. I wish you all the best!
Ask them for information about shelters for couples, one is the cafe at 3309 Melon street in west Philadelphia
Sometimes no but they usually send you and your family to an overnight facility where you stay and then you go back to the AppleTree Center the next morning they will continue to either allow you to keep staying at a temporary overnight shelter until they find you permanent placement or they move you around to other temporary shelters until you're placed like they've done me because I have health issues. If you have any health issues bring medical documentation and all medication. If you can something current from doctors or specialists will help you with where you are placed ultimately.
You sleep in a room with 1 other family, a twin bed and if you have a infant you get a play pen for them to sleep in if you have a child that's about school age they get their own twin bed. I was in a room with 4 twin beds and 2 play pens and two closets.
Yeah he needs to be in ur income that's it bith together and ur income me and my husband was in a shealter

No but if you want to be placed with you husband, bring it. Whole family placement is scarce. You may have to get placed in seperate shelters
