Easy and beautiful scenery

Lost a star because i didn't see a big horn sheep. Jk but it was quite busy (obviously, on a Saturday morning). I hiked it as the beginning to the 1st segment of the Colorado Trail. If I were to do it again, I'd do the dog friendly alternate route. You lose most of the crowd by mile 5. Very family friendly with kids, strollers, and an easy place for bikes.

I believe there are signs at the trailhead saying no firearms
No they are not allowed in the main trail. They are only allowed in the Lockheed Martin Recreation Area and around Chatfield
Park in parking lot across the road from trail/road entrance and walk or ride a bicycle in.

Public tail, no rental is available. Technically e-bikes are not allowed, but they remain a gray area with forest service and Denver water rules. Denver water does do accommodations for ADA etc. Give them a call, they are incredibly helpful people

Nope. First come first serve. Only rulenon this trial is NO pets allowed to protect the sheep.
It is closed for the next two weeks or so on the weekdays for maintenance. Denver water should have an actual schedule.
You cannot go into the canyon with dogs. You can take the trail east of the parking.
