My biggest complaint is the lack of cleanliness. The trash rooms are never cleaned and they stink. They decided to “renovate” the pool in the middle of July, despite claims it would be open in June. Also, the security likes to harass residents. Otherwise, it’s fairly quiet and the neighbors are pleasant. The maintenance team responds quickly and we’ve enjoyed our time here, for the most part.

Bridges is getting expensive for what you get. It use to be a great price and loved living here the last 2 years, but my rent has increased $300 a month since and the property just continues to degrade. Not likely to renew. There are many places at a comparable price that are just a bit nicer.

Tyler, the Bridges director, charged us $1200 for telling him that we found bed bugs in our apartment. We heard about others having bed bugs and wanted to fix the problem. But it turns out, bridges is just going to place the cost on the residents rather than trying to fix the bug infestation. Ask any questions=eviction notices on your door. We were given a 1 day warning over email before they performed the treatment and charged us. Communication was weak. Said they’d make accommodations to help us spread the payments out but then freaked out and said we had to pay it in 3 days or we would be evicted (again with the eviction threats)- especially hard when you live with a bunch of international students that don’t have the money to pay you back. The bugs don’t go away, even after the treatment. You will not get sleep with the train blaring it’s horn at night. Hobos roam the streets and even sleep inside the bridges (I have pictures). This place is not fit for anyone who wants a normal life. Try living here with the burdens placed on you here and you’ll feel like you’re serving a prison sentence... dying to get out but locked in by predatory management looking to get every last lick of money off of you.

There is a homeless person living about 10’ outside my apartment on the 4th floor. Internet goes out, Comcast repair guys, “Dude, just FYI, you’ve got someone living in the closet right outside your apartment.” Picture of inhabited closet is taken from inside my apartment. Aside from the fire hazard of smoking in a confined closet, I just don’t feel secure. No wonder the stairway I take to get up/down smells like weed/human waste. There have been multiple occasions where I have seen syringes lying on the sidewalks and been offered drugs while walking to/from my car. (Update.. not long after writing this review I almost stepped on a used syringe going out to my car, see pic) Also, because of the poor parking situation my car was towed (towing company unable to validate property lines or any illegal parking) and damaged causing thousands of dollars of damage. (See pics) I talked to Tyler, manager, and he said it’s terrible what the neighboring towing company did to my car and that I should sue the company and that he hopes I win. After that conversation he went and hired the towing company that caused the damage. The neighboring complex says I was parked on Bridges property, Tyler says I was parked on Citifront property. I asked Tyler if he would be willing to spend a few minutes to verify property lines with Citifront and he says he is not willing, even though it would help me out. I ended up having to buy a new car during the months it has taken to resolve the damages and my old one is still sitting damaged. I wouldn’t expect management to help a resident when their car gets damaged/broken into etc. On signing for our lease we were verbally promised a corporate discount related to my work. Management said I should just sign the lease docs as they were on the website and then they would take care of the discount on the backend. The office staff told me they wouldn’t be able to offer any discount when I followed up while moving in. By then, I was stuck and had already signed. I was displeased by what seemed to be dishonest tactics used to lure tenants. Before I signed I wish I had heard one of the frequent train passes. The noise is a pretty penetrating high pitch, grinding metal. My bed shakes when a train goes by. It’s not an earthquake but you can definitely feel it. Just a few things to consider.

Approximately 6 years old. Their Better Business Bureau file was opened in 2012, so i would say anywhere from 6-10 years. IF they were built in the '90s as Danny assumed, then they have recently been remodeled, but i would venture that they would have a BBB file that reflects such. However with their BBB file being opened in 2012, I'd feel much more confident they opened around 2012.
I believe the rent is $1,000 for a one-bedroom apartment
