Apartment itself is nice, and now that’s about it. I’ve been here for about 2.5 years now. In the last year they have removed any type of guest parking. With new apartments being built all around, Gateway, and the Complex next door street parking is non-existent especially on weekends. Endless construction directly outside my window starting around 5am usually. They also do not validate parking with your license plate, so I have spent about $700 from my car being towed due to my parking pass falling, and after talking to an employee about the situation, I was told they would get back to me, and they never did. Worst of all, with nothing but downgrades, my rent is going up $800 a month. Update. Final month (thank god), after pre-paying my entire rent on the 20th (10 days before rent is due) they decide to tack on some mystery charge and then I’m sure a cleaning fee or something. I obviously do not go and check to see how much I owe, because I have already paid rent. Instead of getting email saying there’s a charge, I get a “pay within 3 days or vacate” posted on my door. Wouldn’t have known until a friend/neighbor told me. This company is a joke.

We went on a tour here and loved it. Amazing amenities, beautiful floor plan, secure building, friendly management. After our appointment we wanted to walk to around to get a lay of the land and were so saddened by the vast amount of homeless people. 20-30 on one street…right across from Gateway 505. Turns out there is a homeless shelter right there. So we decided not to proceed in honor of our safety.

Location and pet amenities are great but be prepared to have your car towed at least once. They refuse to provide the towing company with the current permit holding information and will not reimburse you if your permit drops/flys out. Management refuses to listen and fix the issue.

We moved from out of state and absolutely hated every day living here. We moved out within 4 months. The building stinks, rent is insanely expensive for what it is, the area is disgusting and the worst part of downtown. Don’t get an apartment facing the pool, you will regret it. Loud, obnoxious parties and trash left everywhere. If you break your lease early get ready for an exorbitant amount of money you have to pay. Would NEVER rent anything even remotely similar to this place.

Yes all apartments have numbers

should I be nervous with my soon move-in, of the homeless shelter, in the immediate area for the safety of my family?

Personally, I had that issue with this community, so I leased at other place until Operation Rio Grande works that out. However, you should ask for security in the community and then make a decision if that is what you are looking for. Other than that the place is great, management is even better always attempt to helping and answering questions!

Do they allow pets (specifically, cats)?
