The location was perfect. Easily walkable to both the Historic City Market district and River Street. The rooms were spacious and otherwise what you expect from the DoubleTree. Most of the staff was very nice and helpful. Annoyingly, they were constantly out of cookies, including when we checked in. That in itself wasn't a problem, and may not have been the staff's fault. However, when we later asked about cookies we were told they "didn't have enough for extras because they had X number of check-ins arriving that afternoon." I appreciated the honesty, but the disconnect between being aware that there was an influx of guests coming in and being prepared with your signature welcome item seemed to be a bit of an issue. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Customer service was good. They were friendly and helpful. That’s where the two stars is. And that’s about it. $42 a day seems absurd. I’ve paid less a day at a Ritz In Charlotte. I understand we were on a main road but I have stayed in downtown Philly and heard less noise. They need to invest in ways make things more quite, because it’s possible. The bathroom/shower were just awful. The shower just shot a solid stream with no way yo adjust it. I regret using my points at this place and if would have paid what the actual cost per night was I would have been very mad, as this place is absurdly expensive for what it is.

We just loved this trip to Savannah! It was our first time visiting and we just loved everything about this city! We really liked the location of this hotel as it was in walking distance of everything we had planned in the historical district. The rooms were clean and spacious with super comfy beds. The only downfall was the street noise outside our room. I did read this in the reviews prior to the trip so I was prepared. They do have a white noise machine in the room to drown out some of the noise but not all. Also be aware that parking is very limited and this hotel offers valet for $42 a day. Overall great experience!

1. I was never notified about having to request for room service the night before and the morning when I requested at 10am, I didn't receive any response till I called in at 11am. In the end I received just fresh towel and new bed sheets after I had to remind them again at 6pm that nothing was done. 2. When I requested valet to the phone, it took 20 minutes for them to send a text that no one is available then I had to go downstairs to give my ticket to which they were surprised that I received my message. It took over 40 minutes to get my car to leave the property. The text issue happened twice. 3. I requested for late checkout and was granted to 12pm check out. I had house keeping knock my room at 10:30 am, 11:00am, and 11:30 am when I told them I have late check out. I given all the details to the hotel when they asked for a feedback and management said they wanted to call to talk to me. Never received a call from them. Only reason I didn't give it a 1 star is because the wait staff Gabby gave an exceptional service at the breakfast area.

We used Uber while in town, as everything once you arrive at the hotel is within walking distance of the room. They do have parking at the hotel, but valet only. There is also an outdoor lot for much less directly behind the hotel and very limited street parking
It's walking distance. Between 10-15 mins.
Check in at 3. Check out at noon.
It's the listed number, just press the # that doesn't transfer you to reservations.
Breakfast was $$$$ but very good.Great selections
