The hotel was nice. The location was good. There is no restaurant inside the hotel. You have to pay $25 per day for valet parking, but if the city is busy with events you are not guaranteed parking by valet or self parking. We had to park a meter and move our car. Hotel staff was fine except for the lady at the front desk who is rude and unprofessional. I had a question about the bill and she got an attitude with me and was unable to answer why there was a $900 hold on a $400 stay. She said she would have the manager call me, but I was around the corner and said I could stop by. She told me to "pull up." She is not someone I would have running my front desk. She ruined our entire experience. I would not recommend.

We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is a little outdated but very clean and the beds were comfy. The staff was very helpful especially Cleveland our valet. He was a great help and so fun to talk to. Will definitely go back!

Literally very few amenities. No pool, work out space is hot and moldy smelling. Breakfast was pastries and coffee. Not bad if you want to start your day with sugar. Parking across the street at 10$ a day supposed to be in and out all day but if you leave you pay 10 more to park again. The staff was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was great. If you want more than a room to sleep in go elsewhere. The price is not worth the stay. This is definitely not a 3 star hotel. Location was ok.

Very disappointing. I stayed here for two reasons, I'm a Wyndham Rewards customer so was able to use points to stay here for four days from 4/9 to 4/13. The location was on a bus/trolley route. The room was clean when we arrived but was told at the front desk they had limited service. If we needed something, we'd have to come downstairs and ask for it. Ok so we weren't expecting a lot but they didn't touch our room for the entire length of our stay. Not to change towels or even take out the trash. I spotted one of the cleaners in the hallway and asked for a trash bag and she acted like I'd asked her to walk over hot coals barefoot. We literally had to take the trash and put it outside the door to get them to pick it up. Totally unacceptable. The front desk staff were clueless about amenities in the area or parking protocol, except to recommend that you use their valet service to have your car parked literally right across the street. There are no vending machines, room service or restaurants very close. Closet one was about 4 blocks away. The beds were very comfortable and we lucked out on the 3rd floor because there was very little noise. This is no where close to a 4 star hotel. A very disappointing stay. We will not be staying here the next time we're in town.

Public parking for $12/day is right across street...they close garage at 9pm and do not allow in/out privileges. You need to pay each time you park there.
Walking distance for sure. 10 minutes or less to Broughton Street from the B. Maybe 15-20 to River Street. Walk straight up Montgomery st. from the hotel to Broughton. Straight walk, then you're the start of the downtown shops.
For me it would not matter if it were free I'd never go there again spotty internet spotty cable 2nd floor has a funny smell oh and they charge an additional 30 $ a day for parking hidden fee course its optional but who is going somewhere new and has to park 5 blocks away .......
$30 valet if you get in after 9pm in same (9 dollar lot) which closes to public at that time
