Called to book a room the same day. Showed up and was provided key cards. Walked to room with luggage and child and opened door to assigned room to find an occupied room and 4 startled faces staring at me. Apologized and returned to desk where I was provided key cards to another room. Upon entering said room, the first thing I noticed was an offensive smell. The room had definitely been smoked in. Next, my daughter points to the bed and says, “there’s a bug on the bed.” Well, it was a cockroach. 🪳 🤢 I was still willing to give it a chance because it was 9 at night and we’d been traveling all day so my husband removed the roach from the room. 😬 Next, I noticed a crusty yellow substance splattered on several of the walls, a missing smoke alarm, black mold all over the ceiling in the bathroom, a soft spot on the wall between the beds that appeared to be active water damage, dirt/dust everywhere, particularly on the chair which also appeared to have pubic hair on it, and a I’m guessing non functioning?) telephone in a pile of debris under the bedside table - an area that doesn’t appear to have ever been cleaned. Seriously. Needless to say, we ended up at the Hilton and showered immediately. It was awful.

Nice for a cheap hotel. Beds are really comfortable pillow tops. The floors new laminate walls are painted furniture is more modern. Newer curtains newer shower curtain. The only thing I didn't like was a skimped on the bathtub the bathtub had not been updated at all. They should have coated it with a white plastic you know to update it and smooth make it look polished. And the fixtures had some erosion from the dripping water. So they had done all this other work and skimped on the bathtub. But it smells fine nothing raunchy or basement.

Sink had no stopper and was clogged, with water filling the sink immediately upon turning it on. I threw away at least three cigarette butts that floated up out of the sink drain in this non-smoking room. The smoke detector had been removed from the ceiling was was sitting in a drawer. This is a huge safety hazard. There were several areas of mold on the bathroom ceiling. Several things in the room were exceedingly filthy, including the bathroom light switch, hairdryer cord, phone, alarm clock, and top of the microwave. Some of the grime was easily removed with my own disinfecting wipes. There was some sort of substance splashed on some of the walls and door near the bathroom that appeared to possibly be a sauce of some sort. The white inside shower curtain had splashes of dirt all over it as if a person who was covered in dirt had showered and splashed a lot of it into the curtain. The beds, bedding, and tile floor throughout appeared clean. Overall, this was the most disgusting & dirty hotel room I've ever stayed in. I don't expect things to be perfect, but I do expect a room to be clean. Most of these things would have been easy to remedy had staff cared enough to do so. Had this same exact room been clean and the sink drain not visibly filled with trash I would have easily given top ratings. I took pictures backing up each of my claims.

No pool. Noisy. No food. No coffee. Door was difficult to shut. Shower curtain falling off. Many long-term clients sitting around getting high all day. Charged twice what was advertised online. Dirty stained linens. Cigarette burns on bed spread in a non-smoking room.
