Fantastic. Recently renovated. Laminate floors. New curtains. New paint. New floors. White bathtub white toilet seat. Smells good. Well it smells like new renovation. But that's okay. Has a down comforter. A pillow top bed. Air conditioning works. Coffee pot mini fridge. And for $47 a night Sunday through Thursday. Exactly what I was looking for. I'm staying in the 200s above the pool. So that row has been renovated. Make sure to ask for the renovated ones and perhaps that section. Further out of Savannah. But the other la Quinta in midtown smells awful.

This LaQuinta is under renovation. Our room had a newer floor in part which was good. But the area near the entry smelt very bad. I think it is newly converted to non-smoking. The pool has been filled in. The staff was nice. The location right off the interstate is good with restaurants nearby.

It is unsettling to be here, truthfully. The hotel is very old, very dated, and very dirty. I wanted to shower to wash off after sleeping in the bed because I just felt icky but honestly the shower looked really gross too and I wasn’t going to risk it. I never went barefoot in this room even in the bathroom because it just felt so unclean. Piles of dirt in all the corners of each room. The area is also a bit unsettling. One positive I guess would be proximity to the highway and gas stations/fast food. However, this room was not worth the almost $200 it cost for one night. If you are reading this and considering booking here, DON’T. Apparently there’s another La Quinta a little further north on 95 and that one has way better reviews and looks way better. Wish I booked there.

Our room was clean - a little dated - but beds were comfortable. We had lots of towels. We saw lots of dogs - did NOT hear any in our room. Breakfast was surprisingly good. It was fresh - not wrapped like in many other hotels/motels. We had scrambled eggs, toast, waffles and all the other breakfast foods and drinks. Great selection of teas. We enjoyed our overnight stay. ( to those giving bad reviews because of dog smells etc - this is a PET FRIENDLY hotel. Just saying !!!)

Yes, and they have a trash can for poop bags near the grass. Saw a lot of dog owners staying there. My biggest gripe was curtains were not adequate to privacy - 6+ in gaps on both sides where people could see into your room. The adhesive on the Velcro mechanism was no longer sticky and we had to tape the curtain to the wall. That was this weekend. Would not return till curtains are up to code.
Motel 6 is better than that one trust me I stay there alot
