Staff was ok but the hotel is run down. There is a smell in the air in the building and our room smelled like cigarettes when we checked in. The ceiling has a watermark and shows mold growth. I don't need fancy but I do need clean and maintained. I won't be back here Also note part of the building is still closed for COVID and they are still using paper carryout for breakfast.

We are a Gold Marriot member and have been to many Marriots. This Marriot's staff was by far the most friendly and professional. Starting out at the top with Angela the manager and down from there was Patricia at front desk was GREAT, ALL the way thru to Gerry and Nell as the breakfast ladies. And we can't forget about Tommy in maintenance, on our 5 night stay, we saw him servicing/maintaining the A/C, pool, elctrical issues, fixing cabinets, replacing A/C filters AND always had time to stop and say "Hi". This location is older but the staff makes it memorable and like stepping back in time where people care about you. Thanks Marriot and thank you Marriot Residence Inn Savanah.

The entire staff was great, very hospitable and helpful. Thank you to Jerry who works in the morning and went out of her to be sure everything was good. I Recommend this hotel if staying in the area!

We were displaced from our home due to a plumbing disaster and stayed here for 11 nights. The staff is amazing especially Patricia who was working the evening shifts at the front desk for most of our stay. Great property for an extended stay in a central location. Nice grilling area as well.
