Overall, our stay was a poor experience. We do not recommend and will not be staying at this Legacy Resort location again, nor any Legacy location again. Ours and our friends experiences were poor for the following reasons: 1) Our rooms (2) located on the west side of the facility were dated and literally items were falling apart (bar was loose and a perceived safety hazard for tipping over + patio screen door was broken + patio door did not lock + toilet overflowed and had to be fixed by me). 2) Management felt is was good timing to conduct pressure washing during the afternoons (several during the weekend), which was inconsiderate given how loud the pressure washer was and various stairways were closed making loading/unloading difficult). The loudness of the pressure washer made us close the door and windows and we couldn't sit outside. Twice we complained about this. 3) Be aware of the sneaky $9.99/night "Resort Fee" that is located toward the bottom of the email reservation confirmation. This is a pesky fee since my understanding the room charge covers for things like internet, phone, towels, etc.

"LEGACY" -a thing handed down to a predecessor, in this case "info"! We Booked and paid $600 for a week stay, arrived on 4/25/22, Immediately realized this was an old apt complex that was in the process of being converted to a rental property. It does not have the appearance of a vacation rental. Its close to a busy intersection, no views of anything. They gave us a room on the 3rd floor, no elevators, we walk into room and there is dirty dishes in sink, trash cans are full, empty bottle on table, dirty towels piled up in bathroom, beds have been slept in and are un-made! I had to yell out just to make sure I did not get shot for walking into somebody's unit. Went to office very unhappy, the host was very nice and reassigned us a room on the 1st floor. Upon entering there is a unusual smell, the apartment lacks decorations and the furnishings old and blah, the renovation is done very cheaply and the place looks nothing like the pictures on the advertisement and probably isnt! No air conditioning in bedrooms just heat and a window unit in living room. We immediately left and forfeited our $600 and drove to Breckenridge and are in a TRUE vacation lodge for the same amount of money.

Just left Legacy after staying 4 nights… LOVE the size of the room and the ease of the entire resort. As a business owner, I know how simple updates can change a place. The rooms are very aged, which CAN BE fine, but somethings do matter. As far as service, cleaning staff was amazing, the front desk lady should be replaced with someone who smiles, responds not with just NO or YES answers to everything & a thank you would be great. You never get a 2nd chance to get a 1st impression! Overall, we are not sure we’d stay again but it worked very well for our large party to have space and our own rooms. There’s enough profit in the B Corp/Owners pockets for updating some things. It can be a gem!

Had to clean the room somewhat upon arrival. Don’t leave anything behind. They’ll tell you they’ll mail it but 10 weeks later and several calls later, the item is still at their desk. This is a sick joke. My daughter would like her teddy bear back and they keep lying to us and toying with us. Several other lies too. Requested a certain room and was given false info about the view. Then was given more false info and ignored about changing the room. That’s a regular pattern: ignoring guests; not returning calls; not leaving messages and then after all the lies and calls telling a guest to calm down while they take another 30 minutes just writing down an address. We did have a great time and I thought things were good and I truly don’t understand why we’re being treated this way.
