Walked to renew... got my number and sat down to fill out form... 30 seconds later my number got called. 10 minutes in and out. Great job to the entire staff there!!!

Making an appointment was a total waste of time. Ip arrived 15 minutes early and was called 50 minutes late. Other walking in were handled before me. Nothing has changed, still horrible.

You need to submit for a SS card.
Need to make a police report,
Need birth certificate, also car registration, and a electric or water bill.
am a resident of the state of Texas. the state of Virginia suspended my drivers license back in 1998 because of back child support now will it be possible for me to get a Texas Driver license.even though I haven't had a license in 25 years.
Just did this. Make an appointment which could be months out. If you are doing this have a power of attorney. Or get her an online account with the DMV to get a replacement.
If you have wrecked your vehicle, and purchase a new one, how can you get the registration completed to drive this vehicle that you need without having to wait 3 months for an appointment?

When I went to the Suffolk DMV on Thursday a worker wearing a name tag of "P. Lewis" very rudely told me that a live person will not be reached. I was asking on behalf of senior citizens I know who have no internet or smartphones to make an appointment with DMV. The worker could care less & rushed me on my way.
You can either go to a DMV Select location or go to the Local DMV Office.

They are currently renovating the main corporate office which is where all the calls are directed. They can't direct them to the local office because of they are short of staff at the moment...this is what they told me when I ask while there
